I’ve been to and reviewed the Cupertino location, I have the same great things to say about the Downtown SJ location. We ordered fried fish, shrimp, and scallops. I was especially impressed by the scallops, the texture was perfect. The fish and chips and shrimp were stellar as well, well-seasoned breading and not too greasy. I will be back, of course.

One of my favorite local spots. I never have a bad experience. They always follow special directions I have. Like spicy ranch on the side. Nice portions and my meal is always fresh. Plus they are the kindest employees. Definitely try them out if your in down town.

The food was great, fresh with plenty of options and clearly these know what they’re doing with seafood. The scallops were not fishy or salty and decently priced, swordfish was nicely seasoned with some sort of paprika thing. The steamed clam bucket was delicious as you one might expect clams, wine, and butter to be. There weren’t any closed clam shells in it, so they certainly knew about clams. They had New York cheesecake that I didn’t get to try, but that alone bumps it up for me. The lady with the blue fish earrings working the cash register/counter was very friendly and bubbly, she seemed genuinely happy to be there. She brought us our food plus all 3 condiments cuz she wasn’t sure which ones we wanted. She checked up on us a reasonable amount of times and was very pleasant. It’s a charming, well run little place.

Ordered a family size meal(s) on Sunday 7/16. Great service. I believe the owner was working the front and handed me both big bags and a drink as I was sitting down and waiting. Only real issue with me is parking (had to park illegally a block away), but as I walked in there was a sign saying they validate for one of the nearby parking garages.
