Service was good. I was the only customer in the restaurant so it was quiet. The fajitas were decent with an overdose of green/red pepper. The flavor was okay and prices were on the high side. For one person with soda it was $40. A tip of 20% was added automatically and credit card receipt requested tip on top of that. I do again appreciate the prompt service from lady at the restaurant.

Since visiting Salsa Latin Bistro on Saturday, my boyfriend and I have yet to stop thinking about the meals we had. We were guests over at the Mariott just next door, and were en route to another restaurant when Salsa caught my boyfriend’s eye. We decided to give it a shot and we definitely did not regret the decision.

I was really excited to try this place since it recently opened. I went today and it seems like the place is still trying to get it’s footing as it was completely empty when I arrived. But it didn’t take me long to realize why this place is empty. The short version is that the menu seems a bit overpriced and they don’t sell alcohol. And the place doesn’t know what it wants to be. Maybe it’s just because it’s Sunday but I doubt that. I ordered the pernil ($28) and settled for a non alcoholic piña colada. It’s funny because I was charged $13 for it, I was thinking maybe they snuck some rum in it without my knowledge but no it was just the worst version of a $13 piña colada. The pernil was excellent though. And on top of that the bill added 20% gratuity for 1 person. I could understand adding gratuity if I had a group or better yet if it was advertised. I paid it but I will not be returning to this establishment no time soon.

I attended a party and had one of the items from the prie fix menu: veggie fajitas and it was bland. The veggies were crunchy but lacked flavor. Given they were fajitas I expected a bit of chilli, cumin salt and pepper, but they were missing. I doused the veggies in the salsa and that helped .

Just awarded their Liquor License but it had not yet been delivered. However… food is excellent! I’m from Houston where we have excellent Tex Amex. This is NOT Tex Amex. Authentic Latin food. Had a meat plate: steak, pork chop, chicken, chorizo, chiaron (spelling?), rice, fried egg, and plantains with a green salad. Appetizer was chicken empanadas. Again, they were excellent, had Chihuahua cheese, Fantastic! Everything was prepared perfectly. I’ll be back for sure!

Hesitant because we were the only people in here at 8pm with one other couple coming in. Ordered the Arroz con Pollo and damned if it was delicious. Worth it for the food.

Ordered a chicken soup for pick being my wife was sick. Awful !!! Frozen Veggies just placed in hot water. Broth had no taste again just hot water. Chicken was shredded with rice. $7 for a side of small white rice. A total of $20.30 which was not worth the tasteless Awful meal. My 1st and last time !!

I visited Salsa on one of the busiest night, the Marc Anthony concert. The line was wrapped around the block, when I tell you it was worth the wait I mean it! From the food ,the ambience, the DJ and the sweet and knowledgeable staff, I enjoyed it all. The owners even came over to greet us and check on us occasionally. I highly recommend this place.

Had a great time. Food was a tad pricy but tasted amazing. We were the only people in the restaurant, but more people need to come try it out!

One of the most horrible experiences I have ever been a part of. The service was beyond terrible. They were understaffed, took almost 10-15 minutes to seat us. I had to tell the manager or owner twice that we were ready to order after waiting almost 30 minutes to even get someone to our table. When we did order food and drinks, we had to get the attention of the waitress to see what was taking so long for our drinks and apps. Other patrons were also disgusted with the service. Suffice to say that we had to walk out without even trying the food, from which I heard was a mixed bag. They have to shape up and get people working there or be quicker with their service before that place gets shut down.
