We were staying at Kalahari Resort in the Poconos and we were looking for a place to get pizza. After searching google maps, we found Benny’s. It was a about a 20 minute drive, and the reviews were good, so we took a chance on driving a little further. It was well worth the drive. We ordered a cheese pizza, a taco pizza, fries, and Chicken Marsala. The pizzas had amazing flavor, the fries were good, and the Chicken Marsala was excellent. The pizza crust was great, and the edge of the pizza was just right, not to thick, not thin, and it wasn’t dried out like a lot of pizzas. We are from South Central PA, we have plenty of pizza restaurants in the area, but none of their pizzas compare to Benny’s.

Best pizza around! 100/10 we had a plain and a buffalo chicken slice of pizza! It was perfect not super greasy, quality cheese, spot on portions, sauce was delicious, awesome prices, great crust texture!! Can’t go wrong! The staff was outstanding and super nice we had quality quick service. It’s very clean in there as well!!!! Definitely going back!

Don’t let the outside appearance fool you this local restaurant is not just a pizza joint, their also servings up some fantastic pasta dishes. We had 4 different pasta dishes and everyone of them was made to perfection. The Penna al Volka was so flavorful that it matched what I’ve had in many high priced restaurants that charge twice as much. The menu has a good selection of items to pick from and the service was outstanding. I wish I lived in the area so I could go back and try every item on the menu.

The pizza is around a 4.5 or 4.6 as far as taste and quality. Very friendly staff, fair pricing, nice pizzeria atmosphere. My only complaint was that the pizza was very floppy in the center, folding the slice would not have even helped with that. After you get past the 1st couple inches of the slice it is firm enough to pickup and enjoy without the toppings taking a nose dive. Next time I will ask to have it cooked well done. Great sauce, great tasting ingredients. I can’t give it a 4 rating, so it must be a 5. Really good tasting pizza. I’ll try more of their italian foods as time goes on (I’ve heard good things).

If in the area, it is definitely worth getting food here. Both service and food were amazing. We were out with another family and kids got their own table, they were gushing about how good our waiter was, the adults did not disagree. We enjoyed all of the items that we ordered. Will certainly go back when in the Poconos next.

If you’re in the mood for a pizza loaded with cheese and a Pizza sauce that’s freshly made with just a perfect amount of sweetness, this is the place. We searched several pizza places in the neighborhood during our trip to the Poconos and came across this gem. The crust is chared in all the right places. Thick crust on the Sicilian. I loved it.
