8/3/23. Traveling through the area and decided to stop here for lunch, it’s on the north end of the downtown area. Only 2 server but she was on top of her tables and encouraging to the folks in the kitchen. Nice to hear. Had a cheese burger, tenderloin and house made spiral fries. Both were very good and well prepared.

Nice home cooking in the small, low-key town of Hamilton. They have very good burgers! The pork tenderloin was nice and crispy with tender and juicy meat. Wait staff was extremely attentive and polite. The Susie fries are alright, but a little on the greasy side.

Kathy’s kitchen is the single best restaurant in all of Hamilton Missouri. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall, but that is definitely a good thing. Kathy is an amazing cook, and so are all the other cooks she has on staff. Her server Tracy is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and she never lets my glass get low, or anybody else’s for that matter. During the middle of the week, most of the time on Wednesdays, they do a smoke special that includes burgers, brats, and ribs, and is absolutely delicious. They’ll also work with you if you have any special dietary needs. Speaking of which, if you’re looking for a low sodium option, check out the Susie’s! Delicious whole potato curly fries, with absolutely no salt.

I’m from the Kansas City area where the BBQ is Darn Good. Kathy’s BBQ Rib are phenomenal!!! Totally smoked to tender perfection with a smoke ring down to the bone along with a mound of perfectly fresh cut hot fries. The Pit Master cooks with TLC like Mama

We found this lunch spot, while traveling through. It’s very cute and has Amazing food! The chef even brought the food to our table, which we thought it was awesome that she didn’t just wait for the server to come grab it. I saw all three ladies non stop working and working together, which is rare these days.
