We sure enjoyed the live music on Friday evening. We had a nice porter beer and a mixed drink. The atmosphere was nice, and comfortable seating. All orders are placed at the bar for drinks and food. We ordered a pizza. It was okay but next time we would order something else. The crust texted was thin, reminded us of a graham cracker texture. The pizza sauce was very sweet.

Entertainment, atmosphere, and guy bartender were really good. Girl bartender was grumpy and only interested in her boyfriend, didn’t care that a two topping pizza was incorrect. We’ve tried coming here 4 times, and have either been told at 4:00 that fish was sold out, had to wait crazy long for food orders, or had incorrect order given to us only to be told “sorry” by grumpy waitress. Drove a long way, really tried to give place a chance, but won’t be back again

beer is good, polite guy bartender. girl bartender not as polite, more focused on guy at bar than servicing customers. did not get simple order of pizza we ordered (how do you get two toppings wrong, at least I learned pepporoni mushroom not very good). told girl at bar when paying- she did not care. got a box for the pizza left, so small had to stack slices. poor service. singer was good. Wife and I will not return

This could be a really cool place!! Be prepared to stand in line at the bar to order your food. There are no servers. When your food does come it’s in a paper to go container. And not much food. Very disappointing. Would not go back unless things changed

Very large restored building housing an on-site micro brewery. Large selection of tap/draft beer including a resurrected Walter’s from Eau Claire. Large food portions at reasonable prices serviced in to-go containers so no need to ask when leaving. BBQ meats were delicious. Located right along a snowmobile trail for easy access.

Delicious food, and great casual atmosphere. Service was very friendly too. Outdoor seating is really nice! The burnt tips are amazing, as well as the Mac and cheese burger! Food was hot and delicious! We will be back when we’re in the area.

It’s a cool looking bar. Dont got here for the food. First off have a sign saying to order at the bar at each table. After I ordered at the bar. It took 40 min to get out food and it was lackluster for the price. We had a pizza that was just store bought crust. Meals with fries were like kid serving of fries. Everything is served in To go containers. No servers so no one even apologized for the wait on the food. Seems like 40min is not a big deal to them. Need more staff. You are your own server everytime you need a refill on your drink you need to go to the bar. They have online pay system set up but you cant even use it to order or pay your bill.

We decided to go here as we had heard Bruce Larson was there singing. Absolutely no advertising that we could find. One bartender to serve too many people – waited in line at least 10 minutes. You have an amazing venue, Northwoods! Use it, advertise your events, and your new brews.
