As many times as I have drove down Beale St, I have never noticed this place. Walked in and it was a nice welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted immediately and seated. Server was nice and helpful. Ordered the chicken sandwich and was told they were out so I got the catfish instead. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted good. The chef even came out and made sure everything was cooked well. Really enjoyed my visit and will be back again.

Went with a friend who shares a love of live music. I enjoyed myself immensely! The owner greeted us at the door and we were promptly seated. The server was friendly and asked if we wanted food or drinks. The atmosphere was very laid back and the music was great! The band was excellent and the singer/owner was so good. Everyone was friendly and the vibe was on point. If you haven’t gone, please go. I will definitely be returning soon!!

Went for a Saturday birthday brunch, and was NOT DISAPPOINTED. Chose this spot instead of Mahogany and was pleasantly surprised – simple, but DELICIOUS MENU. No frills, no fuss, just SUPERBLY SCRUMPTIOUS selections, with a clean presentation! Catfish bites were well seasoned. Fries were great. My chicken wings were just a little under cooked. I didn’t complain, I just brought them home and reheated to finish the process. Friendly and professional staff. Enjoyed live music, except the volume was too loud for me (Maybe drum set don’t need a mic if it had one). My friend didn’t complain about the volume. Love that they have their own parking lot. I would go back, but if the drums on the live music are still too loud, I won’t be there as long as I was the first time.
