My family and I tried Santo Taco today (first time for me, second for my fam) and I have to say I’m quite impressed. There was no wait at 1pm on a Sunday, but there were patrons there. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Valpo!!! Delicious queso… which is a staple for us. Love their specialty tacos and their jalisco is amazing! I’m a picky eater so I substitute the steak and shrimp for more chicken and it’s amazing and cheesy!

Was looking for somewhere quick & not too expensive for lunch. Found out they have birria tacos!! $13 for 3 birria tacos served with the consomé. I’ve been traveling to chicago to get good birria tacos because I can’t find any local places with good birria, let alone any birria! The service was great. Friendly and super fast! I also tried an Al Pastor taco, sooo delicious! Had to finish it off with their Flan for only $4! It was sooo yummy! My lunch was under $25, was absolutely delicious and fast service. Had an overall great experience. 10/10 and cannot wait to go back again!!

UPDATE: I have been coming here on and off a few times since my original review. The service has dropped drastically. The waitresses just seem not to care. The orders have come out wrong, no refills and long wait times for simple dishes even when the restaurant is not busy.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING tacos! The birria tacos are the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many of places. The workers are very friendly, food is always super fresh, and very good price for as big as the birria tacos are! We tried this local business while passing through Valparaiso, and I cannot say enough about how authentic and high-quality the food was. The presentation was colorful, and very pleasing to the eye, and the flavors were mouthwatering. The Birria Tacos con Consomore was FABULOUS! Our waitress was attentive and and very personable. This place is a gem of a restaurant!
