They served homemade style Italian cuisine in reasonable prices. Almost waiters are old as my old old uncle and they are really nice. On this honeymoon trip in the US, it was one of the best places for my wife and me from west to east.

Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Everyone so attentive. The zucchini blossom was heavenly. Everyone at our table had a great time. Will definitely go back.

This place is exactly what I was looking for! Old school red sauce restaurant with incredible food and vibes. Sat at the bar, had a negroni before ordering then had the clams in red sauce, Bolognese and a glass of red wine, and some tiramisu. Can’t get Italian food anywhere near this good in Indiana! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and get some Monte’s!

An old school trattoria serving the traditional Italian dishes. The dishes are not family size but individual servings. The staff are friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious.

My family has been going here since the 50’s and it’s a staple for old school NY Italian food. We had the cold antipasti, chicken parm, veal parm, lasagna, and cannelloni. The chicken and veal parm were delicious and both served with side of pasta. The cannelloni was also great, stuffed with a cheese and spinach filling with the meat sauce on top. The lasagna was also great. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the zabaglione. Great time as always.

Omg. Not sure if it’s because I rarely eat Italian food or of this place is just heaven on earth, but you can taste the TLC that goes into preparing the magnificent food at this quaint upscale place in the heart of Greenwich Village. We visited on a recent food tour and sampled the pasta bolognese. Wow. What a difference from store-bought pasta. Melted in our mouths. An explosion of flavor in every bite. Definitely would come here for a meal on a future visit. Momma Mia!

The food is just ok, very old style italian, fairly authentic, but the stuffed mushrooms were fridge cold inside, like poorly warmed in a microwave, the linguini overcooked and watery. The Ossobuco was ok but too heavy. The restaurant is really old style italian and warm and cozy. The menu is interesting. Right in SoHo. Too expensive for the quality of food. Too bad.

This is the best Italian food around. The flavors are so delicate and vibrant. The service is as great at the food. This is our go-to whenever we are in the area.

Met a life long resident outside. Very nice guy. We were asking him about how safe the subway was. He told us a funny story about how he just got robbed for the first time in his life on thanksgiving weekend after riding the subway most his life. Lots of friendly people in New York.
