I had gone past this place many times so my granddaughter was visiting so we came up to Blair to Butch’s Deli for lunch. Average looking sandwich place, I had a sandwich can’t remember what it was, and my granddaughter had a burrito and a taco. Taco Bells is % better. It was just a tortilla with some hamburger mix and a few beans folded up with some yellow made to look like cheese. The taco was nothing special as was the sandwich. The MALT tho, was excellent! My granddaughter brought it to my attention that the lady making the and the sandwich was not wearing any gloves at any time.

The sandwich was fine until I finished it and it hit me. My mouth literally taste like I smoked a pack of cigarettes. I do not smoke either. Idk what if was but something from the sandwich made my mouth taste like cigarettes.

Good local grub. Nice for smaller groups. Food selection somewhat limited but everything is good. Ice cream is excellent. You can eat inside or outside. We like to walk our two dogs there and get a vanilla ice cream for them to share outside. Fun for us and the furkidz as well. Welcome to Blair, Nebraska dining.

I have been here several times with a friend who works in Blair. It is where he always chooses to go. The sandwiches are good and they have good ice cream too. The prices are also reasonable. The setting and seating are nothing spectacular, but are okay for a lunch spot. It is in a busy part of town and parking is not always easy.

Great ice cream food is also amazing. Inside isnt the best atmosphere to eat but you would be fine just taking your food and eating at somewhere else such as lions park. Great place.
