I love what they are doing here. Great. Absolutely great service and the menu is full of something different. Finally not just another plane jane restaurant. Food is fresh and delicious. I can say I hope they get the support they need to make it a permanent fixture here in town.

This was our second time trying this place since the first time(opening day) was so ruff. Burgers are just okay. I prefer some seasoning on my burger. Fries were good. Nice thick cut. Service was good but it should have been we were the only customers in the restaurant. This was from noon to 1:00. Prices are a little high for what you get. We will probably not go back. Just not that impressed.

My husband and I went here for a quick bite, I really wanted to try the strawberry shortcake I had seen on the website. When we ordered I ordered the spinach artichoke dip, Jodie herself came out to let me know that she was out of it and allowed me to try the pimento cheese dip instead. Which was wonderful, you could taste the freshness in every bite! My husband’s burger was delicious, you could see that the fries were fresh cut as well. Finally it was time for the short cake!!!! Which was hands down the best in the world! Jodie made mine for me, layers of short cake with homemade fresh whipped cream and strawberries that had been soaked in sugar! It was amazing!!! Thank you Jodie for going above and beyond to bring delicious food to our little town! I can’t wait to come back!

Since opening the restaurant has refined their menu. I was lucky enough to enjoy one of their lunch special, comes with fries and a drink and came out of the kitchen in the appropriate amount of time. The 7oz patty melt was cooked to perfection at medium on large pieces of rye bread with grilled onions. The fries were from actual cut up potatoes and were the perfect compliment to my patty melt. Large enough for lunch and to snack on the rest of the afternoon. Compliments to the chef and new owner of this restaurant. I look forward to trying more of your specials!

My family and I just love this place! From the stuffed burgers to the dinner specials.Where else in Rockwell can you you get a stuffed burger And a Low Country boil for dinner? First off let me say I love local eateries, there is heart and soul to them that chain places don’t have. Jo Jo’s has a great atmosphere, was clean and inviting. They advertise as the home of the “stuffed burger”, and this is a predominant item on the menu. There were many types however most were lined out with black sharpie. The burgers are advertised as 8oz and range in price from 10 to 12 dollars. We ordered a pimiento burger and a bacon mushroom swiss. There is not a list of toppings so when asked we found other item’s (pickles, onions etc) were available. It took 40 minutes to get our food and the toppings did not come correct, and the waitress struggled to discern who’s was who. The two burgers looked identical except for the size, one would pass for 8oz the other lucky to be 4oz. The larger burger was red on the inside (not fully cooked) and really did not have the taste of a bacon mushroom swiss. The smaller pimento burger was also lacking a definitive taste. We observed other patrons and their server’s having similar problems with what burger was what when they came to the table followed by requests of toppings.
