The best açaí and pitaya bowls in the US, hands down. Every bowl we got was delicious, and was full of fun flavors that were incredible. My favorite was the booster/spirulina bowl, which was a peanut butter and vanilla spirulina bowl. The flavors were sweet and salty, with little chunks of granola and bananas. The atmosphere was incredible, nice modern music playing with this incredibly modern seating area. The walls were beautifully painted and even had some neon signs. They also offer protein bites, shakes and health drinks and shots. This is now my favorite bowl place.

Weird experience. New cashier was rude to me because I wasn’t familiar with the menu. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her even though I was the only person in there. She was confused that I wanted a smoothie and not a bowl, as if a smoothie wasn’t an option or like she just didn’t feel like making it. My smoothie was rushed, tasted strange, and wasn’t blended well. I get the same thing everytime I come in and this is the first time I’ve been treated like this. I didn’t see a manager on staff, so I feel like it has turned into young people running the establishment that just don’t care.

i’ve been enjoying this location for a while since I moved here for school. Recently when this new manager was hired, it’s been going downhill so fast. She smells like alcohol & weed at all hours of the day, vapes around the shop, is very disorganized, and hires these new kids and older people who are the exact same. The original employees who are still there are amazing and I feel so bad for them. This is not the Playa Bowls that I remember, and I’ve been hearing everyone is complaining about the same things. it’s very sad to see. I hope to see some action taken soon before it’s too late!! Shame.

The green bowl base from Playa Bowls is my favorite! I like how you can pick and choose your toppings of fruit, drizzle, and other extras. I appreciate them layering the Nutella drizzle under the fruit since my order was packaged up to-go. Their bowls always hit the spot for breakfast, lunch, or a snack!
