Great vibes and great staff! Ask for Gage! So friendly and the drinks are amazing. Great cocktails and yummy food. The pour house quickly became our favorite spot on our trip simply because of the friendly staff here and quality drinks! Gage has been the best bar tender we have had in Nola!

Had a Great cheese burger and order of wings. Staff was friendly and service was pretty quick. Music was a tad loud for lunch time during the week but it is a bar so I’m not knocking them for that but just an FYI for others.

Full disclosure: if I walked in between 5 and 7 I don’t think I’d be impressed. But I walked in at 1 AM in need of a solid burger and I got exactly what I needed. Friendly service, solid food, and extant beer at a time I wasn’t sure I’d find any combination if those things. 10/10 would stumble in late at night for a burger again. Much respect for the folks working here, and much gratitude.

Monday lunch time, I was dying for some red beans, so decided to give Poor House a chance. I won’t do that again. $20 for a serving no larger than a Popeyes side order. Good beans, but for that price? I’ll pass next time.
