Found this Middle Eastern spot while I was passing by in the area and decided to stop in. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich with a side of hummus which was great. I was kind of surprised that it was wrapped in a tortilla instead of traditional Arabic pita bread. Being Middle Eastern myself that caught me by surprise also the chicken didn’t seem like it was cooked on a spit the traditional way. All being said the food was still great and the service was awesome! I will be back to try some more menu items!

Seems like fast food and pretty much is. Not awful but not good. The meat was kind of dry and the food was overly salted. Service was complete with a dose of male chauvanism. Server was cool but chef has a weird staring problem and needs to mind his own business. No thanks. Burger King/high school cafeteria feel. Mediocre.

Meat eaters will love Shawarma Express. Their unique (to me) dishes come with a generous portion of meat, so much that combos and plates (served with hummus & salad, chicken over rice..beef over fries) equal two meals for me. Check out my pics. If debating, I preferred the Express Beef Shawarma over the chicken (piled on top of yellow rice) Shawarma plate. The beef comes wrapped in pastry thin (like) wraps, which look like but are thinner than tortillas. We also tried the Gyro sandwich, which came in the thicker pita (very soft and fresh) wrap. The prices appear to be high, but the portions are so generous I think the prices are reasonable. There is a dessert case to entice your sweet tooth. Order ahead as the wait is slightly long. My co workers and I are always happy with our dishes. Good portion size. I ordered the Greek salad which was enough for three people and was tasty. I was surprised that they used black olives on the Greek salad instead of Kalamata olives. The falafel was good on the falafal salad, which isn’t really a salad but falafel with a sprinkle of lettuce underneath. With that aside, the food was very tasty and we will go back again.

Waiting >20min for a beef shawarma wrap. Size was very small, no vegetables or pickled items inside the wrap, smaller than a child meal, not look like the advertise picture. The staff in the kitchen visibly not actively preparing the food. Hope they can improve their quality.

Great stop for lunch, and pretty generous portions. I usually get the Beef Shawarma Plate, which includes a side salad, bed of rice, lots of meat and Pita & Hummus. Food is very tasty, and the staff is always friendly. Everything is made fresh, so it can take a few extra minutes to get your meal.

I really enjoyed this place. Got a euro and kabob. Was very hungry! Owner is so nice, super friendly and helpful with ordering and suggestions. Wish I lived closer. Highly recommend.
