Not like the LaBou I remember, pretty lackluster. The staff was nice and greeted us when we entered but the lady that grabbed out pastries from the case did so with wet gloves that she was wearing when she came from the back. She kept the same gloves on through the transaction, answering the phone, and when she went back to make the sandwich we’d ordered.

This is not the La Bou I’ve known and have eaten at over the past 30 years. I’ve eaten here twice. The baguettes and croissants are not the same as other locations. They don’t have the delicate crispness on the outside with airy moist on the inside. Just bread. The service is like they don’t care or can’t be bothered with you. Won’t be going back to that location. I know Folsom location rocks!

Yesterday was the first time to this eatery! The ladies behind the counter were top notch in customer service. I ordered an Asian chicken salad wrap and did not realize there would be peanuts. Anyway I took it back up and she made me a knew one same thing just no peanuts and the dill sauce with it was amazing. I did buy the second wrap again, though I think they would have changed it out without a problem. I was giving the other one to my other daughter that was coming to meet us there so we could give her bday gifts.

Where is La BOU? I’ve been to. The place was dirty, the atmosphere was lacking, and the food was sort of thrown together. I feel it was over priced from when I got.

As always La Bou signature bread and ranch is awesome, you have to come in morning hours for fresh and best taste of bread, sandwich, soup, salad, sweets and much more. The only reason this is a 3 star is because this location is a little bit messy the bathrooms, seats are dirty, not a good feeling

Unfortunately not the la bou that I know. I’ve been to multiple locations and never had this type of “panini”. Last time I checked a panini was pressed not just a flat piece of toast. See my review of another la bou and you will see the dramatic difference between the two. Not only was my sandwich not a panini but it was missing ingredients. Supposed to be a chicken BLT panini but there’s no lettuce or tomato, wow. Literally a speck of avocado and when I asked for a little more the lady behind the counter asked me what kind of sandwich did I order and did it have avocado? That was after I specifically told her I ordered the chicken BLT but she made me prove it even though she made my sandwich. Huh? Honestly I’m on the fence about one or two stars but considering they were friendly and mostly courteous they get the two. My wife had the eggplant and goat cheese panini and I have to say it was pretty tasty but also not a panini.

The dill sauce is good. The panini was good. The croissant was good. The salads were very average and the food was a little bit pricey for what you got, but it was good.

My all time favorite is the Chinese chicken salad and the bagget and dill sauce $15 worth of bread and it’s yesterday’s bread…. it’s not even fresh beyond disappointed and extremely annoyed that I paid that much money for half stale bread
