Normally I wouldn’t put a rating before even eating my order, but I have to share the service I just received. I ordered their honey baked meal with the potato salad. The manager stopped and asked that I try the salad before leaving with it. Now that’s service. They should get way more service! It was so quiet when I was there. They have so much seating available.

First time eating at this establishment. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the food was really good and seemed to be of great quality. My only thought was the Kens dressing. Should be replaced with a better dressing for the good food. Overall it is definitely a place I’d recommend over fast food places for the same price.

I was a sceptic, and avoided going here on several occasions, however I now consider myself a Honey Baked Ham fan. The place is clean, the staff is kind, the food is well portioned, the price is right, and most importantly the food was delicious. I foresee many more visits. Although not truly comparable to Carver’s of State College, this is the best place for a lunchtime sandwich in the Altoona Area.

Once you’ve had this ham everything else just doesn’t taste good. You haven’t had ham until you’ve had a ham from here. We love honey baked ham. You can also see the hams and chose the one you like. The staff are very accommodating. It is pricey, but we’ll worth the price.

Thought I would save myself preparation time so I bought a ham and turkey for Christmas. I was not satisfied. The turkey was to expire the day after Christmas even though I picked it up 3 days ahead of time. I was told it could be frozen. After I froze it I read online it should not be frozen. It was lousy. The ham was okay. From now I will prepare my own ham and turkey… while saving ALOT of money.
