Very delicious food. They were very accommodating to special requests in regards to substitutions, they had very friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. The cocktails were also delicious, and have a “bartenders choice” option which was fun. Just be specific what you like and don’t like. 187 style mussles were a favorite with sauce to kill for

What a dining experience! The food and cocktails were delicious, the portions were filling, but not too much, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. The prices are expensive, but it is well worth it to have fresh, mostly local ingredients and a great dinner. There is also no tipping as the wait staff is paid differently than most restaurants.

Great atmosphere and bar. The mussels are amazing. Some of the other stuff is hit or miss, depending on your tastes. (My skate was heavy on the tarragon, which i didn’t know I hated.) Their eggs benedict was not poached properly and the potatoes on the side were too heavily spiced, but the salads are amazing. But then my friends thought their fish was amazing. So best bet is to ask what’s good on the menu, which changes.

This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch with my 18 month old son. Their savory crepes are delicious… I tend to go with the duck or rabbit, and their offerings change regularly. The times I’ve gone for dinner, the amuse bouche was always delightful and surprising in some way. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our brunch. Google maps had the location 2 blocks off even though the address was correct, so it took awhile to find it. Eggs Benedict, chicken soup, vegitation crepe and French pressed coffee all tasty. Decor was nice, including the music. We are looking forward to dinner at Rue Principale in the near future!

Easily the best, new restaurant in Lehigh Valley! Went there for brunch on 10/08/2015 for the first time; I know I will be back there very soon. Great staff, good bar tender, FANTASTIC cuisine. And finally, proper patio dining in the valley. I will be returning soon.

Absolutely outstanding – a hidden gem in the Lehigh Valley. Probably one of the best restaurants in a 100 mile radius. The interior design is simple and inviting – does not make you feel out of place. Seating is available both outside and inside. The food is spectacular – very fresh, nothing is processed. We heard about this restaurant from a bee farmer who sells honey near the Quakertown 476 interstate. He told us that the chef from 187 Rue Principale travels on Sundays to the local farms to personally select various foods, etc. When we heard this, we knew that we had to try it. The food looks wonderful and tastes incredible. And, the menu is very reasonably priced considering all of the work that goes into the preparation and presentation. You can tell that the owners are very passionate about creating a great dinning experience. Can not wait to go back – and even try their brunch and lunch menus.

This is a neat little place — I took my family there for breakfast. The coffee, french press, was excellent. The food was delicious, although a bit on the expensive side. While I say that the food is on the expensive side, it’s “European style” so there is no tip expected — it’s included in the cost of the meal.

No longer a good restaurant. Over the last few months I’ve watched my favorite breakfast place go from 5 Star French cuisine to 1 Star small town diner. Turnover in talent has clearly resulted in a change. What once was authentic French farm to table is now supermarket to table with old bay as the seasoning of choice. I’m not just disappointed it’s a true loss of a local culinary treasure.

Crepes can go either way. My expectations are seldom high. However, their crepes were fabulous. Sometimes I sit around and daydream about how they have taken such simple things, mixed them together, and made something that tastes so good. It is a nice and cute little place for brunch or lunch. Not even sure what they have for dinner, but I am sure it would be good French yumminess if they have it. I will be going back for certain.
