Great food ! Period. The place is very small and looks like a shack, but DON’T let that fool you. Austin our server was very polite and explain all our questions. Great Waiter. I lived in Florida before and was visiting on this trip. It was like eating at a great Florida style restaurant of seafood choices. Definitely will go back.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! The fried fish had the most excellent crust, the coleslaw and Mac n cheese were so delicious. The owner John was so nice and inviting. He made sure all my wife and I’s needs were taken care of. This place is an absolute gem and deserves to be on Food Network. So if you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out!

Finding a good spot for perfectly fried fish can be tough. Most places over cook it making the fish tough or under cook it leaving the batter soggy, well not at Becky Jack’s. They have found their secret to success with their special corn flake batter. The batter comes out very crispy but the fish stays tender and flaky! Their crab cakes are delicious too and everything comes in good size portion. When looking through the sides dont look past the bean salad, it is definitely a family favorite. While the building isn’t much to look at, it definitely has an authentic beach style fish house feel. Our kids love seeing all the dollar bills hanging from the ceiling! Pro-parent tip, make it a game to see who can count them all the quietest, this will likely keep them occupied long enough for you to peruse the menu and order without too many distractions!

The friendliest staff, awesome atmosphere, and amazing food! I had the Crunchy Fish Tacos, and let me say, they were the BEST I’ve ever had. They say they are made with “love” and that is no lie! What a great place to relax, enjoy the cool weather, and let your stress just melt away. Only problem, I wish there were more stars to give! ; )

First time at Becky Jack’s and I’m already planning my next visit. We had coconut shrimp for our appetizer and a crunchy fish sandwich with 5 bean salad for our entree. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Great service from Xavier with a fun laid-back atmosphere. It was karaoke night, which is every other Tuesday, so we enjoyed that while sitting around the fire pit. I highly recommend a visit for good food and an entertaining evening.

4-1/2 Starts….You can have your fish any way you’d like…Swai, Tilapia or Mahi from what I remember. Huge portions. Reasonable prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. Small seating area. Great service. Onion rings look amazing. French fries look amazing. Didn’t care for the tried Pita chips, prefer toasted. But will go back for sure! Totally Recommend.

Staff was very friendly, my husband had the fish which was huge, I had the chicken Ruben which was really good. You defiantly get your money’s worth with the size portions. We will be going back for some yummy fried food.

We stopped here for a lunch after visiting the Weeki Wachi River – and food was surprisingly great! The crab cakes were large portions and I think pure crab. They had nice beer and cider selections too, local brewery options with summery and citrus flavors.

First time visiting Becky Jacks Food Shack and that’s what it is limited indoor seating small kitchen enormous outdoor seating, staff is super friendly and the food is amazing so glad we stopped by!!! The locals we met were super friendly and the way Becky Jacks uses their outdoor space looks like alot of fun to be had especially at night. (Including a fire pit for Smores or roasting marshmallows) Start with the chips and salsa!!

Wonderful spot. A best kept secret. Hidden about 5 minutes away from Weeki Wachee River Park. The cruncy fish sandwich is huge and tasty. Today I tried the crunchy fish Ruben. Wow. Amazing 5 bean salad to go with. Friend got the crunchy fish platter. Fish really cooked well. Can taste the heart in the cooking of it. Oh, LOVED jalapeno hush puppies. Crab cake just wonderful. Very crabby and less bready.
