Stopped here on a whim because we were hungry and our favorite spots weren’t open, well this place is now added to the list. Everyone was so kind even though we were close to closing time. The food was prepared with care not rushed, but was still out fast! Highly recommend the patty melt and the onion rings, fries were good and crispy too! Another place you drive by a few thousand times and it turns out to be a secret gem!

Consistently great food. Portions are generous and everyone is always friendly. The menu is very extensive with all of your diner favorites and lots of home style cooking. Even if they seem busy, the food is served efficiently and wait time is usually less than 15 minutes.

New favorite breakfast spot in the area, hands down. Everything you could want for breakfast, priced well, and executed correctly. I’ve tried a lot of diners in the area, and it’s surprising how difficult making something so simple, simply taste good, can be (Alex’s, Berkley Coney, The Avenue). I think this really comes down to ingredient quality, and attention to detail (seasonings, ingredient ratio per dish, even distribution of ingredients per bite, etc), which this place seems to have down.

Visited this restaurant while staying at Hotel Royal Oak and had a fantastic breakfast. Very generous portion sizes for the Country Boy breakfast, also got a short stack of pancakes with voucher form the hotel. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was well kept and clean.

This innocuous little diner blew me away with its quality and friendliness. Consistently, delicious, I’m now dedicated to trying everything on the menu. Since, covid it seems that most restaurants have sacrificed the quality of their food, it’s good to know that Village Grill is not one of those places.

This is one of the finer diners, as they offer the breakfast menu items you’ve come to expect, plus a nice variety of appetizers and dinner entrees, including American favorites like meatloaf and steaks; soups, salads and pastas; and Greek favorites like saganaki (that flaming cheese that’s fun to watch served table side). The space is clean and comfortable. I really love the convenience of electrical outlets at every table… Makes it easy to charge this phone! Overall: It’s decent dining for the entire family — Village Grill Cafe & Family Restaurant isn’t trying to be like expensive, fancy spots down on Main Street. And that’s a good thing.

What you expect from an old fashion restaurant, wide range of choices at fair prices with a wait staff that can help you choose if you are stuck on what to get. Food was good. I took 1 star off because while they tried to follow the Covid-19 rules like social distance, single use menus, staff in masks, they allowed customers in without masks. Since I am going to PT near I will be back.

Food was very good. I got the Russin Reuben. The meat was very tender. Didn’t have alot of fat like some places. Brother got grilled cod and Mom got fish and chips. Both said they were very good. You get alot of food for a good price. Each of our meals were under ten bucks. Service was a little slow, that’s what they lost one star for. Otherwise, very good.

When you go somewhere for lunch and it’s not busy, then asked to leave because you finished your meal 20 mins ago and your talking, still working on your coffee!!!!! That is absolutely rude and unprofessional!!! Never go near this place again!!!
