Ordered vegetable stir fry with beef. Found like 5 or 6 pieces of beef. Usually order it with chicken and get a decent amount of chicken. If we order beef,…. Don’t tell us we will get miniscule amounts,… make us pay a bit more for similar protein amts. Was not expecting this. 5 little tiny chunks of meat in my vegetable stir fry meat combo. Have had a lot better at other Joy places. If cost affects,…. make beef cost more to be more equal to what a customer gets previously with chicken or pork.

The beef teriyaki was made from thinly sliced deli style roast beef and not a real “Beef” Teriyaki …however the chicken teriyaki was great !

Got the chicken katsu, chicken was paper thin but crispy. Customer service was mediocre at best. Grumpy cashier but that’s okay, being dissapointed with the service and food, led us to go to Nara Teriyaki which is AMAZING! Thank you Joy Teriyaki for the bad service and bad food. It led us to Nara Teriyaki.

If you’re a lover of teriyaki like I am , avoid eating here , I tend to like my food on the salty side but the salt they put in the teriyaki was too much even for me , very difficult to eat it was way too salty., Someone take the salt away from the cook .

This is one chain I can’t get enough of. They are reasonably priced and their meals are huge. The rice is perfectly sticky, they put a huge amount of chicken perfectly grilled on the teriyaki chicken bowl. I get the one with veggies and the stir fried veggies are out of this world. I could eat rice bowls every day. And Joy Teriyaki is at the very top of my list. I’m not sure how many restaurants there are but I have been to three of them. They were all exactly the same so they have the chain thing down. I highly recommend when youre just in the mood for a rice bowl.
