This place is definitely underrated at davis, it’s very affordable and tastes amazing. The AYCE is around 30 dollars after tips and taxes per person and servings taste super fresh. I’d definitely recommend the hand rolls and fresh rolls if you’re coming for AYCE.

The owner, Wendy, is an incredibly kind person, she took good care of our table. The food itself was super tasty, and all the sashimi tasted very fresh. The rolls were also super delicious. I also liked the hot tea that we ordered! It was a very high quality genmai, and we enjoyed many refills. All in all, it was a great experience, and I will be recommending this place to my friends.

Food, no complaints. Service was on par of what I’d expect. What really struck me as odd was roughly 15% gratuity pre added to the bill, (we were a group of 3 not 6 or more where added gratuity is common) THEN the extra gratuity. So a tip to go with your tip. I get the staff utilize tips to supplement their wages. But I think that practice is not straight forward, and you have to pay attention to your bill.

My husband and I always have a great time coming here! The food is excellent and the service is amazing as well. Kimmie was our server and was polite, kind, and even gave us complimentary miso soup and chocolate cake for dessert. 🙂 I always have a very positive experience here and would highly recommend for anyone else to come here too. After trying a few different places, this is definitely the best sushi in Davis.
