An interesting pub experience, I’d describe Vey’s as shooting for an upscale atmosphere, but having food closer to an American diner than traditional pub fare. Service was adequate, but not over the top. Food wasn’t bad, but also not amazing. The dining area is very nice, but with butcher paper table covers. I wouldn’t complain about going back, but also wouldn’t put it at the top of my dining list based on the food to price value.

The tater tots were delicious, perfectly crispy. The lemon cream cake was dynamite! The burger was slightly burnt on the bottom and left you with a charred after taste. Overall this place was wonderful and the waitress was very sweet.

Was in town for a night , was only place open with real food . Definitely was fantastic choice !! My husband and sister and brother in law got the western burger and I got chicken wrap we shared a hot pretzel with cheese !

Extra points go to any eatery that offers outdoor dining. But get there early on Trivia Night Tuesdays (as we happened to, grabbing a snack of lobster bisque/crunchy fries and chicken sandwich with kettle chips between appointments): The parking lot filled between 4:30 and 5 p.m.

The greeting was good. The waiters were good with our food up until the soft tacos. Our group had some and got stomach aches the day after, so not having those again. But we will be coming back for other things instead.

Burgers were excellent, house made chips great and service was outstanding! The outside was deceiving, but we’d definitely stop again if we’re in the area. The patio didn’t have much ambiance, but they did the best they could and hey – they have a patio!

We’ve eaten at Vey’s twice so far & we highly recommend the place. The menu is a good selection of apps, entrees & sandwiches. I would describe it as a casual upscale atmosphere. Cozy decor with 360 degree fireplace in the center. The service is excellent. There is plenty of parking in the flat, paved lot, leading into a level entry. Although there’s a slight down ramp into the restaurant, I would rate it handicap accessible. There is also an adjoining bar. Five stars all the way!

It was disappointing. Food wasn’t great. But the worst part was the .90 Admin charge! WHAT! We didn’t use a credit card, we paid cash. I asked the waitress what it was for but she didn’t know. I realize it’s only .90 but I want to know what it’s really for. Needless to say we’re not going back and we’ll be telling others not to waste their time or money.
