I’ve been coming here for the past 10 years or so. I’ve brought countless trainees and always enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine they had to offer. But ever since covid, Thunder Road has completely changed for the worst. They still have great food and a great atmosphere, but their bartenders and wait staff have become super rude and intolerable… If you do decide to waste your time at Route 66 casino, blow off Thunder Road and just get a Laguna Burger. Laguna Burger has the best green chili stew!!!! Ask for Lou!!!

Try the Cowboy Ribeye and don’t forget the Lobster Tail. We had an Awesome Bartender! He was fast, friendly and fun. Loved their Live Band, good mix of music. Enjoyed our dinner and time. We’ll definitely return and recommend.

Tried to bring a party of about 15 to the restaurant for a birthday, but needed to call to verify some food allergies before we made the venture. I called and got put on hold for nearly 10 minutes while I listened to the girl have fun in the back. Called back and was given a very short answer, clearly one that basically said “We don’t care, and arent going to look into it”, so I asked to speak to a member of management hoping for a clear answer and couldn’t get her on the phone. We’ll go ahead and take our business to County Line. Very clear that the negative reviews about service and the staff here are absolutely an opportunity for them at Thunder Road.

The food and wait staff were great. But the manager ( who was also the host) was all over the place, didn’t acknowledge anyone waiting to be seated or waiting to put their name down. A waitress had to put our name down after 20 minutes.

I’m surprised they don’t have higher ratings. Everytime I come here the food is excellent! I’ve had the steak, the prime rib, the green chili mashed potatoes were awesome. All the vegetables are cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to return!
