Hubby and I purchase a three meat place with sausage, chicken and ribs and a two meat plate with chicken and brisket. Everything was delicious, tender and not dry. They have a most tasty buttery toasted bread that comes with the order that is so good. The ribs and brisket were tender and grilled just right.The chicken and sausage was moist and so tasty. They have friendly staff for telephone orders and counter help. The potato salad and beans were delicious. Definitely will come again and tell anyone that wants good barbecue to travel to Sterlington and check out the Barbecue Pit.

Read a review earlier this, so here I am. Loved it! Warm, friendly greeting & service. Ordered 3-meat plate with ribs, brisket, & chicken. The ribs were awesome. Sides were baked potato salad and onion rings. Those hand-battered onion rings were divine! My favorite thing (after the onion rings) were the wood covered walls.

Me and my boyfriend just left. This was our first time here and certainly not our last. The loaded pit fries are to die for. I got the pulled pork dinner with potato salad and fried okra. Delicious! Our server was very sweet and attentive without being annoying. I love servers like that.

I had the 3 rib meal, the ribs have never been on a grill, no smoke taste or smell, no grill lines or nothing, the bbq sauce is an awful mixture of ketchup and something. To top it off I was sick as a dog by the time I made it to my car. I spent 20.00 for nothing, never ever going back here.

It’s hard to see from the road, but you should make the trip to the back of the lot. Their original and spicy sauce is at the table along with a roll of paper towels. The service was good and fast. Their barbeque chips were good and so was the queso. The meat has a nice flavor. Give the banana pudding a day in court.

The food was very good. Best ribs I ever had. The Cole slaw and Mac N cheese was good too. Best Cole slaw I ever had in like 3 years now. I did the three meal and selected brisket, ribs and smoked/fried ribs.
