We were in the area and excited to try this place as it had good reviews on Google. Walked in and they had a sign that said “Take out only” due to limited staff. This was a bummer because we were looking forward to dining in. We still ordered though since we were there already.

We were excited to try out this restaurant as we heard it was really good. When we walked in half the restaurant was dark, which we thought was odd. There were only 4 or 5 tables to sit at. 2 were being used, 1 by an employee eating a jimmy johns sandwich and the other by what appeared to be an employee’s child doing homework or something. The food didn’t really seem to be all that great. It was just so so. Fried rice wasn’t too good. Vietnamese chow mein i ordered with light veggies. When i got the chow mein it was heavy on the veggies. We also had egg rolls as an app and neither of us really cared for them.

The food is phenomenally created with love and family recipes that are flavorful and delicious. Added bonus, Mr. Duke Kim is so personable and always makes me feel welcomed when I come in! I have been coming with my work family and we always call ahead for our table!!! Recently brought my family in for lunch and they wondered why I’ve been holding out on them! Will be back soon!!!

Duc’s is extremely kid friendly! We were concerned that our toddler would be too loud but the waitress was great. She let us sit in the corner and recommended a good dish for kids that is peanut free (there is no kids menu and our son is allergic to nuts). Our food is always delicious. My go to is the chicken pho. Trust me I have tried many other places but the broth is the best here!! We usually do take out but we enjoyed dining in. We will be back! 🙂

Best Chinese food we’ve ever had! Not only that, but also some of the most friendly service in a clean, relaxing atmosphere. The owner even sent us home with chopsticks to help teach our kiddos to use. We are visiting from the Brainerd Lakes Area, and we will definitely be coming back again when we are in the area!

From the moment you enter the place, you can smell the aroma of authentic Chinese and Vietnamese food entering your nostrils. The atmosphere is cozy and family friendly. The owner of the place, along with his family who work there, are people who always serve the food with love and clearly care about bringing you great food service. You can clearly tell they have been in the food business for over 27 years with their excellent service and willing to go above and beyond. Me and my fiancé went for the first time without any expectations based on the comments here on google but I can guarantee that at least of the dishes we ordered, each and every one of them was worth it in terms of great flavor and portion (which are large and filling). My fiancé loves spice so the owner went out of his way to bring extra hot oil for her. We are very happy to have found our new favorite Chinese food place.
