Made an unscheduled stop here waiting for a tow truck after my cars’ maintenance issue. It was a fun place in rural Iowa to chat with some locals and have a good lunch. It’s definitely worth the “extra 1/16 mile of driving” off I-80.

Clean with friendly service. Beer battered fries are exceptional as were the burgers. Typical bar menu with great flavor and a quick jump off the highway.

From out of town went to bar and bartender failed to check in on our table the whole time we were there. However the food was great and the kitchen staff was on point. But the bartender never asked if you wanted refills or anything. She was garbage!!

Had the pattymelt. Loved the onions that had just a little crunch left, loved the fried butter tasting toast, and beef patty was good too. Also ordered cheeseballs as they were out of pickle spears, they were quite tasty but there could have been a few more. Wife had the tenderloin, breaded. It was pretty large and was very savory. Server was extremely nice, food came out hot and pretty quick. Overall a good experience. One drawback was a lot of fans running creating a lot of noise and songs we played we couldn’t hear. Looked and smelled clean with video games and a pool table.

Got a flat going west, limped the trailer along until we find this little dewdrop inn. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, grabbed some food while we waited for roadside, good portions, hot and pretty damn good. Would highly recommend.

This is the best place to eat at off of I-80 for 60 miles in either direction. I always stop by the Pour House when I’m in the area. I usually order a double bacon cheeseburger and beer fries, it is the best cheeseburger I have ever had and never disappoints. I have had a pork tenderloin, which is also excellent. Every item on the menu is perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Great Service! We stopped in for a drink today before a dry wedding reception. The bar selection was a little limited, but we were warmly welcomed and well taken care of.
