This place is delicious! I saw several Austin influencers posting about this spot and I’ve been wanting to try for a while so I finally did and I loved it! I had the Birria tacos with consome and the taco was flavorful, had delicious corn tortillas, loved the freshness of the onion and cilantro and they give you a green salsa too that was great. I also tried the Birria ramen and I am a basic and boring ramen eater but if you are someone who likes special ramen you will love it, it has great flavor but just not my cup of tea. Great place and definitely going back especially with such great prices!

Queso Birria tacos were amazing with the consommé. The green and red sauce complimented it perfectly. I think this place would be way more popular if they opened beyond 6PM. Even 9PM. Dinner time is the TIME for tacos. Def would come again next time in Austin

First time trying La Tunita and WOW!!! Best Birria con queso taco I’ve had! And it pairs perfectly with consume. They recently added al pastor to the menu; however, when we arrived around 4:30pm on a Saturday they were sold out. Lesson learned to try earlier next time!

Worth the hype. Worth the wait! Try everything they have on their limited beef birria menu and you won’t be disappointed. Fresh corn tortillas that are a little larger than you’d expect. Soooo delicious! Will be back.
