The place was absolutely dead and I had to wait over 25 minutes for fries…absolutely insane and the portions are real small. I’m not sure what I paid $13 for….what an absolute joke. Don’t waste your time here. Two cooks in the back doing nothing and playing on their phone. Literally 10 fries in a tiny bag and 3 tiny strips of lamb meat on the gyro. This is the McDonald’s of Mediterranean food

On Tuesday 20th I called to order food for 5 people in a medical office in Sun City. First they told me they didn’t do delivery by phone, that we had to complete the order through the website, which we did but the website wasn’t working either, then I used Uber Eats which I have never had issues before with and completed the order through it, what is my surprise, that when we got the food we didn’t get many of items we ordered, we didn’t get the sides of the combo meals, we didn’t get the drinks, also the spinach pie was burnt, it even smelled burnt when we opened the foil paper, the salads were the size of a side when we paid almost $10 for it, and the baklava which in their picture (website and UberEats) had 2 pieces, only had 1. Then I called to the restaurant to ask what happened with his order and I spoke to the owner, first he was very mean, and he only said he needed to change the pictures in the app/website because they weren’t accurate. I absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Clean establishment, great atmosphere. The food is full of flavor and not over seasoned. The gyros are actually close to perfect. I order 2 gyros because 1 simply leaves me wanting another one. It’s a nice small place to eat and catch a vibe.

My husband and I have been eating here for lunch and sometimes dinner for the last two years, and their food is so delicious and the most authentic. Alexis, is so sweet and kind, always with a warm smile on her face greeting, and treating us like we are family. The owner Phillip, is also so very kind, as well, as they have the very best customer service, and always amazing delicious food in this entire state we have ever had. Being a retiree from the airlines and traveled the world a few times, Pita Kebob, here in Ruskin, is truly the best! We are so blessed to have them! They have a wide variety menu and something amazing for all ages! Large portions too!

So I’ve eaten here several times dining in and never been disappointed, but this postmates delivery was ridiculous. We ordered a lamb gyro, lamb shank, and spanakopita and didn’t receive the gyro. The spanakopita was an absolute joke. The size was so small it wasn’t even appetizer size. The lamb shank looked so so and sat on the thinnest layer of rice ever… for $24.00 I feel jipped rice is so cheap why is this restaurant being so cheap all sudden?!?

I don’t give 5 star reviews very often but this place was amazing! Delicious simply delicious! If you’re looking for a place to eat look no further. The food was delicious, the place clean and they have craft soda. I got the lunch special lamb kabob, came with rice, lamb, salad, humus and tazziki sauce. Perfect place to grab a quick flavorful bite at a more than reasonable price. Yummm
