After getting back from Texas and having real good BBQ, this was ok. No brisket. Every BBQ joint in Texas has brisket. Maybe Californians don’t know how to BBQ the way Texans do. The deep pit sandwich was good. I liked the house made salsa. Has a nice market with some good looking beef up front. Has a nice patio area in the back for outdoor seating.

Great food, great staff! Very friendly and knowledgeable about their meat. Best BBQ I have had in a long time. If you’re trying to eat gluten free, I recommend any of the combo plates minus the bread roll. I had the tri-tip and chicken which comes with salad and chili beans, and I could not eat it all. We ate on their back patio with our large family, which afforded us comfort and privacy. The soda, by the way, was delicious. The root beer tastes like it has vanilla added to it! It was divine! One person in my party had the J-Lo Pastrami, and another had the BBQ chicken wrap. Both stated theirs were tasty. For a party of 6 people with meals, drinks and 2 beers, it was just over $100, so very reasonably priced. No actual “kids menu” but definitely there are options for your kids to eat and/or split combo plates or sandwiches. If they don’t want to split it up, they can always save it for leftovers tomorrow for lunch! Want to make sure to mention, we checked out the prices on their meat counter and they’re very reasonable. They have it all, we will definitely be back. They close on weekdays at 6pm, so make it a family date and go have yourself an early dinner. Maybe then you can go out to a movie or an ice cream after? I hit up Prime Time BBQ for their lunch special, today (Tuesday) it was the deep pit tri tip sandwich with fries and a drink ($15.95). It was pretty good, lots of tender beef. I started the trip by buying some ribeye, carne asada and ground beef. Cooked up a ribeye for dinner, it was delicious. Definitely an improvement over your regular supermarket beef. Carne asada also tasted great in some tacos, very tender. The marbling on the stakes was just beautiful. Such tasty fat!, melts in your mouth!

I have great service I ordered three T-bone steaks for Super Bowl Sunday, Plus I ordered myself a tri-tip sandwich and a regular ham and cheese sandwich one for dinner and one for work tomorrow’s lunch. Ordered Combo Plate #2 with potato salad, chili, and a roll. Tri-tip was good, too, but the juicy, tender, large ribs stole the show! Service was friendly. Large selection of meat cuts, and they had nice “craft” drinks available for purchase. Also fancy milk and ice cream. Loved the vibe and high-quality food.
