Another unexpected restaurant within Sahara Hotel. NOT typical American-Chinese food & nothing fancy which is great!

The food was presented well. I thought everything looked so good when brought to the table. However, I was disappointed in the flavors. Both dishes tasted very similar despite one pork, one beef and one a soup and other a stirfry. I think the hoisin was heavy-handed, so it muted the other flavors. The dessert was very disappointing. Looked and tasted like something that came in frozen in a box. I’m probably not going to be back.

The food here was great! Loved that the noodles are handmade onsite . Some dishes you can’t alter the spice level so just be mindful.

Our experience here was great! Our server was very friendly, and informative. Made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the pork and green onion dumplings as an appetizer. YUM! Great starter.. The stir fry Kung Poa Chicken was also amazing. A lot of reviews I read noted the heat in certain dishes. I thought it was just the right amount of spice to add flavor. We also ordered the roasted duck and pork with rice. Too full afterwards to try dessert. The only suggestion we’d have is having a full bar or more cocktail options. We will definitely be returning! Wish we ate here our first night as well.

My wife and I had dinner here since we stayed at The Sahara. We ordered the Kung Pao with noodles and Beef with noodles. The Kung Pao was definitely better but both were good. The noodles were the highlight. The staff was extremely welcoming, kind, and friendly. A little overpriced but I would eat here again.

Delicious hand pulled noodle dishes are the name of the game at The Noodle Den, and they don’t disappoint. All varieties provide wonderful texture coupled with complex flavors in every bite. Chef’s plates, rice dishes and a solid variety of starters are also available and are equally full of flavors.

Handmade noodles and buns!!! It is sooooo good. The food was hands down delicious, starting with the smells wafting from the restaurant as you approach. We got to watch the staff make buns and noodles through the window while we waited for a table. The staff was very courteous and the wait was not long. The menu had lots of variety to choose from and the portions were large enough to share. It was so good I brought the rest back to my hotel room.

In 2022, I was waiting for Sahara’s new restaurant to be opened in December and it was the noodle den. I anticipated it to be super busy on the opening week so I went a couple of weeks after and the restaurant was magnificent in detail when it came to its decor, along with the tables and waitstaff. I didn’t have a reservation and was hoping they could squeeze me in for dinner. I was successful in getting a table, my favorite food is fried rice and I ordered the YANGZHOU FRIED RICE and hot tea. The Yangzhou fried rice is Yangzhou style and invariably includes a combination of proteins. Rather than using a single protein like shrimp or pork or chicken as the dominant ingredient in fried rice, Yangzhou uses a variety. The most commonly used is a combination of pork, shrimp, and frequent duck. Which made the flavors of the rice and protein more flavorful than regular fried rice. It was delicious and I finished it within minutes, if there was one critique I have for this establishment it would be the fact that it’s too pricey. I was dining alone and the cost of fried rice and tea was 32.00 without a tip. That put me in a position where I was intimidated to order anything else because usually, I would like to try an appetizer, soup, chicken, and pork dishes but if fried rice is breaking the bank for me then I rather not. I have been to fine-dining Asian restaurants such as Wing Lei, Mott 32, Tim Wo Han, and Din Tai Fung and I expect to pay a pretty penny but I didn’t understand why I was spending it there. If they lowered the price, I definitely would be more inclined to revisit this place and try other dishes, with that all being said that one fired dish packed a punch of umami. Excellent job to the chefs, but I can’t say confidently I would return.

Great restaurant located within the Sahara hotel. After a brief wait (about 25 minutes) we were seated at a table and offered wonderful service by the staff. My wife ordered beef and broccoli with a side of jasmine rice. She said it’s the best beef and broccoli she’s ever had, and I agree. It was pretty amazing. I had the chicken and mushroom dumplings. They were okay. All in all, we would most certainly return.
