Had a nice dinner for Saturday night prime rib. Wanted to come back here and the second time and was not disappointed. Be patient, as always, to be seated. Enjoy a few drinks at the bar- they were really good! Once seated for dinner, soup and salad bar are open for you to enjoy. Everything was fresh and very tasteful. They always have unique soups, rather than your clam chowder or French onion… we had the prime rib, I had the queen (10-12oz) and it was filling. Good seasoning and a ju sauce. We will definitely be back in the near future!

We found this place by Googling a place to eat “near us” which it wasn’t. Walked in to a full bar and just one little opening to get a drink. We were warmly greeted and offered drinks/menu. I watched the bartender smile a lot, work efficiently, and serve each person with enthusiasm!

This is a favorite when we are in Wisconsin. Laid back atmosphere “where everybody knows your name”. Service is friendly and fast and the drinks are pouring quickly.

We went here for my birthday after a friend recommended (9-2-17). The service was not good- my husband stood at the bar for over 5 minutes before being acknowledged to put our name on for a table. Our waitress was clearly inexperienced and didn’t know what she was doing, which I wouldn’t hold against her. They charge $2.50 for a CAN of soda. From our 6 dinners, my husband’s steak was the only meal any of us enjoyed. Everything was way over-seasoned. Our teenager had a side of fries and the poor guy only got 13 fries on a plate. Needless to say we were all quite hungry still after we left.

They handled a large group pretty well! The server was very personable. She went missing a few times, but she looked pretty busy with other tables. The food was good. I was excited to eat alligator again. I can’t speak for the gator main course but the appetizer was very good pan fried. The grouper was also super flavorful, and I highly recommend it. I heard other seafood options were good too. I would not, however, recommend the steak (prime rib especially). It was pricey, tough, and not done how people wanted it. Two others in the group had a different cut of steak that was supposed to be medium but ended up well-well-done. They did comp those two meals!! Great response on their part. We were grateful for that. All-in-all, I recommend the place. Your experience may vary, perhaps more positively, when going in a smaller group.
