I ordered the blackened catfish with potato salad and Cajun coleslaw cooked perfectly and delicious.

I ordered the fried okra (ate it too fast to get a pic, lol), the red beans and rice and the Mac and cheese. The okra was really good, crispy and golden brown. The Mac and cheese could maybe use a little salt, but otherwise was excellent. The chef was definitely not stingy with the cheese! The red beans and rice was my favorite! The beans taste just like the ones I had in New Orleans last year! So good. The flavor was on point and there is just enough spice to give it a nice kick! The only thing I might change is the sausage, but that’s probably just personal preference. I give this local gem five stars and I will definitely be dining here again. Also, the atmosphere os very nice and the vibe of the restaurant is super chill. My server was super nice and I didn’t have to ask for anything before she asked me! It’s really nice to see a southern place here, which is authentic. I’m from Florida and it made me feel at home. Kudos to you guys here at The Big Easy!!

Waited an hour after placing our order for the waitress to come tell us they didn’t have what I ordered. Waited 45 minutes for our appetizer fried alligator and it was only about 8 pieces and pretty costly. I don’t recommend this establishment

Would have been interested to check it out. But open sign on and lights on and doors locked tight. 3:30pm on a Sunday. 2 other cars pulled in and did the same thing while we found someone that actually wanted to make money.

The jambalaya was good even so far away from Louisiana and service was Amazing but it is a small, space that looks like a tiny neighborhood bar. Not a dining atmosphere.

The dinner plates were seasoned to perfection, savory, and delicious! We had fried catfish, fried okra, Jambalaya, red beans & rice, fries, and Jalapeno cornbread. It was all perfect!

It’s a bar, stick to bar food. Not really trying to be mean, but the food is terrible. I went to pick the food up and must’ve gotten strong because, there was no weight. Food was almost like canned food flavor wise. We get it, you want to make a lil money next to fat tuesdays, but useing their menue right now is terrible. Stick to frozen burgers. Someone is going to get sick.

Wings and fried okra were really good. The atmosphere is a bit run down but that’s not a big deal imo. A lot of local ppl come in here and it can get a bit loud on a wknd night so if that’s not your style, stick to lunch time.

Went back in june. Staff was wonderful, but the food was not good. Had the chicken and waffles. My waffles were cold and seemed like they were frozen waffles and the chicken was rubbery and very small portion. The corn bread was great! My husband’s burger was better than the chicken and waffles. Drinks were good. Want to give it a 2nd try but having a hard time getting myself back there.

It was a very pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the time spent there. It brought back good memories of a certain bar in Hi . Good times to be had by all who go there.
