Really like this restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and friendly… the food was very tasty and well presented. One “small” complaint.. The philly cheese steak I had was made for gnomes. It was delicious but tiny. A restaurant can get away with small plates and servings with gourmet food but anyone who orders a sub like a philly steak and cheese expects a real sub.. Not the tiny thing they served me. The narrow plate plate it came on doesn’t hide the small portion size.. I was left feeling completely unsatisfied which is a shame as the Philly tasted great…what little I had of it. . The eggplant rolotini was excellent and good sized portions.

Sammy’s has a pretty good selection of pub foods and a great selection of pasta dinners and they a very generous with their portions. A little on the pricey side. We had the French onion soup, meatball grinder, club sandwich & chicken piccata. All were good. Pasta wasn’t quite done yet, but it was early in the day still. Would go back.

First time at Sammy’s, to starters the bread with olives fresh garlic and peppers was delicious! Than we had buffalo wings, stuffed mushrooms, calamari, those appetizers were magnificent, than we got a cheeseburger with fries, that was nothing different from other restaurants, zuppa di pesce was good, and shrimp with scallops alla vodka was good, I really wasn’t amazed about those two pastas because it need a little bit more flavor, they can be more generous with the pasta and meats considering the prices, Italian restaurants are known for their generous portions, (I’m not saying that the portions were extremely small, they were a decent size but it can be a little bigger and more seafood) desserts still a little frozen inside, overall it was a good experience, I do recommend this restaurant, let’s support our local business. Quantity and quality were there!

We had the best time there for a Sunday lunch. The staff was very polite, helpful and intelligent. The food was top shelf at a reasonable price. We will definitely be stopping there to eat often. ORDER THE FRENCH UNION SOUP you’ll be glad you did.

Food was just Adequate. Stuffed shrimp were VERY small. Veggies were good and cooked perfect. Chicken princess was tender and juicy, should include a small amount of pasta with the vodka sauce But there were 2 good size chicken breasts. It was just O.K.

Loved this place!! We both had steak dinners that practically melted in our mouths. A little pricey but worth every penny. Wish we got salads with our entrees especially for the price. I will definitely be going back to this place!! Our server was so sweet there was a slight language barrior but anything we needed to know or asked he got us the answers in a timely fashion.

Got two seats at the bar. Everything was going well until the bartender spilled an entire glass of wine on me. She bumped the glass making it spill all over my shirt but mostly my shorts. She was unapologetic and gave me 2 napkins….what??? We had to leave because of the discomfort of drenched clothes. I understand that incidents happen but no remorse. Will not be going back.

I took my mom here for her birthday in May and my husband for father’s day today. He ordered a steak and was completely blown away! My husband and I are self proclaimed foodies and can be very picky about where we eat. We have seen restaurants go in and out of this location over the years and we can understand why the others have closed, but Sammy’s is here to stay! I had the chicken princess both times and it was so good! I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow. The only bad thing I can say is that their take out containers are styrofoam, which is bad from an eco-conscious and health stand point.
