This is a quintessential neighborhood restaurant with incredible food. I liked the decor, the service was very friendly (love you, Rosanne!) and I can’t wait to to come back and try more of the menu. Photo is of the duck pastrami sandwich–be sure you order it with the gruyere.

The fried cauliflower is a must from the batter to the sauce. Beautiful courtyard for a lovely night but watch out for those termites.

From the moment I walked into this restaurant, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance was cozy yet refined, and the service was impeccable. The menu was a celebration of flavors, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The attention to detail was evident in the exquisite plating and the harmonious blend of ingredients. I was truly impressed by the creativity and passion that went into every aspect of this dining experience.

If your looking for something unique, this is the place to be. Coming from the PNW you cant get food like this. The chef has an amazing menu and I wish I could try more. I went with the duck sandwich and it was amazing. Prices are awesome. My server was solid and gave food recommendations for other nice spots. And its a beautiful location. Come check this place out because the menu is really special. Cheers ❤️

Delicious food, friendly service, far away from crazy French quarter, reasonable price! Enjoyed Happy-hours. We had a brunch at Brennan’s and the sauce was super salty, couldn’t finish the dish. It was very nice to be at a place where serves well seasoned and salted but not overly done! My NOLA chef friend recommended this place. Don’t miss here!

Popped in alone for brunch and ended up seated at the bar. It’s cozy, welcoming and delicious! I took the streetcar to the end of the line and walked about five minutes. Totally doable but you can tell it’s more car friendly. FYI I would also spring for an Uber to come here!

I was excited to go here after seeing the chef highlighted on New Orleans kitchen queens. The food was Nola comfort food, with a unique twist I can’t quite define. Our server didn’t seem to care that my wife was gluten free and made no effort to offer suggestions for things she could eat. Also I would have thought the chef would have marked gluten free things on the menu, but I guess not. All told a decent experience, with a lackluster server = not worth the effort to get there.

Lovely spot! I’ve been wanting to take my foodie grandmother here, and we finally went for brunch/lunch. The menu was great, and we really liked all the food. Bbq shrimp was delicious with a nice spiciness, crab cake benedict special was rich and tasty, and all the sides and drinks were good too. The staff was wonderful. I believe our server was Peggy, who was attentive but seemed just a little bit impatient. The hostess was very kind when we realized my grandmother had forgotten her vaccination card at home, and they pushed back our reservation for us while we went back for it. I really appreciated the COVID precautions like masks, card checks, and spaced-out tables — makes eating out with a elderly person a bit more comfortable. The building is adorable with a gorgeous patio, and I love that it’s a little bit off-the-beaten-path. My grandmother raved about how much she enjoyed this meal. Such a gem!

I really wanted to like this place, but…we choose to sit near the patio ( the main room was very loud with so many conversations going @ once) and it was nice until the lady behind the bar/ counter started sorting silverware and THROWING each piece into a bin not 6 feet from our table. The worst was when she’d bring out a new tray of silverware and slam it on the counter. My wife and I would literally jump, and I’m not a scary person. I gave her a few uncomfortable looks and I know she realized what is going on, but she continued her rude practice of tossing and slamming silverware in the dining room with somewhat of a “ I don’t care “ look on her face. Not exactly the dining experience I was hoping for . I finally asked to move ( @ this point we actually opted for the noisier dining room ) , they did relocate me , explaining that it is a small restaurant . I have been to many small restaurants of this caliber and have never had someone slam and sort silverware so close to diners tables while they are trying to enjoy their meal. With so many restaurant choices out there, I would really have to reflect If I would recommend or return to Rosedale
