Granted, we are Georgians/Hispanics and are still trying to wrap our minds around Texan Mexican food. But even with that in mind, it’s not great. The chips are definitely store brand, from a bag. Not made in house. Which isn’t the worst thing, I guess.

Hands down, THE best service we’ve had in SOOO long!! Our server (Caleb) was attentive, fun, easy going & prompt! In addition, the food was DELICIOUS!! We’re pretty tough critics when it comes to Mexican food, so take our word when we say this place is a MUST TRY!!

So I have Read many reviews that this restaurant is kind of 50/50.

Awesome food! The owner was so nice too! DEFINITELY try the pina colada! Yum! And I loved my chicken tortilla soup. Ask for the green salsa if you like a little extra heat. I added it to my tortilla soup! The rice and beans were great too. My whole family loved their meals, the service and the atmosphere. We will be back. We all said “finally, a good Mexican food restaurant in Granbury!”

I’d read mixed reviews about Fuego, and just had to try it myself.

Went for breakfast for the 1st time on Saturday. I guess they’re no longer serving breakfast during the week.

They didn’t have a host or hostess to seat us so we waited a while on being seated. I watched one of the servers drop the chip scoop on the ground then use it to scoop chips. Our waiter was great. However, The only thing not burnt to black on my fajitas was the chicken. And the chicken was cut in large chunks with 0 flavor. The queso was good. But honestly the rest of the food quality was so poor we will never come back.

Was hesitant to try because of some of the reviews but so glad I did. New owner, Juan, introduced himself and explained his plan. Freshly fried tortillas for tacos and tostadas. Fresh meats and beans. Expanded menu to come. The tacos al carbon were excellent and the chicken chipotle tostadas were fresh, delicious and well priced. Salsa was fresh and beans were excellent. Definitely a new go to place for me

Salsa is very good!! My husband and I ordered loaded nachos to share and they brought them out on separate plates for us, very thoughtful and each plate was full!! We spent less than $24 pre-tip, Service was great and atmosphere very nice.

Fuego is our new favorite Mexican sit down restaurant. The service is excellent and the menu options are superb. Lots to choose from. We knew from the 1st time tasting the salsa we knew it was going to be a good restaurant. The fajitas are our favorite and the portions are ample. The wait staff is very good we were seated promptly. Caleb is our favorite waiter, he is personable and on top of it… we try to sit at his station each and every time. We now take our friends and it is also their new favorite Mexican restaurant we are very happy to have this one in Granbury. I hope to continue to have a good experience, and hope everyone will try it for themselves…this place is a win!
