I’ve been here 3 times now and every time so far the meats have seemed cheap/not good quality meats. It’s also the first Japanese place I’ve ever been to where it’s white chefs and I’m sorry but they can’t do it like the Asians. That would be like going to a steak house and get some Italian food or Mexican food. It’s just not the same

I had dinner with my father at this restaurant. It was okay. We wanted to see the show, but because we arrived 30 minutes before closing they couldn’t give us a show, but at least they were able to cook what we wanted. I had the Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp combo with fried rice and vegetables. Without the show, the food was just ok. The steak was tender, and the chicken and shrimp were flavorful. The fried rice tasted bland something about the texture was off. I also had some fried tempura apps and edamame, they were good and fresh. The salad was normal, and the miso soup was perfect.

Once upon a time the only hibachi and yum yum sauce my family cared for is 13 hours away in jacksonville nc . Until this evening we took the gamble of ordering from Kyoto Japanese after many failed attempts elsewhere and let me tell you every last penny we spent was absolutely worth it not only is the food absolutely amazing so is the yum yum sauce it is spot on perfection . My 13 year old daughter turned her nose up when we said what we were getting but the moment she took one bite she devoured half a hibachi chicken dinner . And proceeded to say whatever is left over is hers . Then I proceed to tell my wife if you ask me what I want out to eat the automatic answer is now Kyoto Japanese . Try this place if you know what good hibachi is you won’t be disappointed . Can’t wait to try other things from here . And a side note the service just for take out was spectacular .

This spot is a total winner! While my squad is all about the hibachi action, I’m head over heels for their adorable and delicious bento boxes. Hands down, one of the best Japanese joints I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining at. The vibe is just right and the staff? Simply top-notch.

The rice dishes are pretty good, but the hibachi is where this place shines. Large sushi variety! Great taste, decent quality and quantity for the price. The lady at the front can be kinda difficult to understand, but she is nice and knows the food on the menu very well.

Im here as we speak. The server was extremely rude to my 14 year old niece as soon as my niece asked her a question she responded with a smart remark. We waited a while. They sat people ahead of us because we were a party of 7 but I’m confused as to why we kept getting skipped. I asked my server what came in a drink she responded by rolling her eyes and telling me I have no idea. I wish they hired friendly staff because every time I’m here it’s always a bad experience. If it wasn’t for my nieces birthday I wouldn’t have wasted any money tonight on anything. To many places with better food and service for sure.

Haunted Butter
They “accept” reservations but will give your table even with you arriving 10 minutes early. Server staff was slow and rude. Only good part of the experience was our chef Anthony who honestly saved this review from being a 1 star.
