I’ve been wanting to try this place, and finally got the chance today. I got my food to geaux, but I liked the atmosphere of the place. Next time, I’ll dine in. I got the fajitas with shrimp and chicken, and man was it delicious!! The beans and rice, that came with the meal, was good as well. The multicolored chips was pretty cool! Gotta few other things I wanna try on the menu, so I’ll definitely be back!

Authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex like other places that say they’re Mexican and is not even real Mexican food. This was the real deal. I ordered chilaquiles verdes and everything was delicious, the beans and rice were excelent well made, homemade. I was lucky to find this place while in Lousiana and I will definitely come back if I’m in the area. Greetings from Houston TX.

It’s a clip joint if your not of Mexican origins. We had 1 regular taco and nachos plus small margarita and 1 large. The bill was 63.11. RIP Off

Not your ordinary tex-mex, El Brazero is authentic as it gets – at least in Ascension Parish. The food was wonderful and the staff is quick and friendly.

The queso smelled like sour milk and was very liquidy. They give you 3 sauces with your chips (one is marinara), one is like a chili, and a green sauce. The rice was overcooked and my bf didn’t like any of his food either. Service was fine but I won’t be coming back because of the food.

I’m a Hispanic from Texas and our traditions are barbacoa every Sunday. I’m here on business so I went to buy tortillas at la carnerceria next to el Brazeros and ask him if they sell barbacoa and he told me that next door they sold by the pound in 3.99 so I agreed to go next door and ask for a menudo aswell .and when I got to my hotel it was a big mistake. I don’t understand how they even sell that in the United States when at Mexico it’s not sold like this.its a shame how one loses his traditions for money this will be the last time I go there

I have been here many times and it was excellent, tonight my son ordered 2 cheese quesadilla…no meat, no sides….2 cheese quesadilla and they charged me $26 for 2 cheese quesadilla. I had street tacos with meat and they were 3.50. when I called to ask if this was accurate, the owner asked if I looked at the menu. Like I said, been here many times and never been charged that outrageous amount. So disappointed….they got my $57 tonight but I will never set foot in there again. Enter at the risk of your wallet

Gave this place a try 3 times. Each worst then the previous. The service is bad. No polite ” greeting “. First time we waited at the table for almost 30 minutes before anyone even came to the table bring a menu, ask for drinks. ( I was understanding because they just reopened).

DO NOT GO HERE. I use to go here all the time before they changed owners and absolutely loved it! My boyfriend and I went today and we waited 20 MINUTES for someone to come take our drink order. Once she took our order she never came back with our drinks. They also never offered us chips and salsa! Five tables came after us and all of them had their drinks and chips as soon as they sat down. I have served for 4 years and have never walked out of a restaurant! Guess there is a first for everything! **Bonus** I caught on of the servers staring at us when she knew we hadn’t been waited on and refused to just even say hello.
