I cannot recall the last time I had such a bad experience at a restaurant. Where to begin…the water smelled like sewer water. The waiter agreed and offered bottle water. Of course, they were out of bottles water. The food in general was like something you buy frozen at a supermarket and throw in the microwave as a last resort. The coffee was probably left over from the day before. The service was as good as the food. It was an early dinner for 5 people; only 2 or 3 other tables. I would not go there even if it were free.

They overcharged me for my hamburger with cheese no bacon @$15.00. Not only the price, but I could not taste the beef through the thick soggy bun.They charged $ 17.00 for Kettle One on the rocks. THORNWOOD not NYC! Never going back!

Had a post-funeral luncheon here for family and friends and it was wonderful. Lisa, Mike and the Gordo’s North staff were amazing. The food was excellent, the service great, and having a private room for this event allowed us to visit with friends and family we haven’t seen for a while. We appreciate the kindness, concern, and support we received from the whole staff. Thank you Lisa, Mike, and Staff!

My wife found GN because there is live music. The bands and dancing have been great. I have to say that the food is fantastic. Every item is fresh and perfectly cooked. I spoke to the owner a few weeks ago and praised his place and he told me that his chicken scarp was without equal because of his chef. I love scarp and ordered it today hoping the owner honest about it. I have to say that was the best chicken scarp I have every had. It was perfect. This is my favorite place now

Ordered takeout for the first time; mostly bar type food and it was generally good. No utensils or napkins provided, maybe someone forgot to pack it. The attention was appreciated as several people asked if I was being helped after walking in. Will try again. 3.7 stars.

We had my daughter’s 22nd birthday there and we could not be happier. Lisa one of the owners was amazing the start. We ended up doing an open bar and appetizers for 30 people, I took advantage of a night when they had DJ serg it really made her birthday. They constantly were shouting out all the birthday wishes. Jesse our waiter was on top of everything kept me up to date on where we were with the tab we just could not be happier. And on top of it the food was amazing. Absolutely recommend gordo’s North for parties or just good food and good music.
