This place is amazing. The food was super fresh and tasty. I didn’t get the fried food, but the stir fry dishes are really light, but filling. The atmosphere is great and the fish are very personable. The staff are super helpful and personable. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Ordered sesame chicken, honey garlic chicken, egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and some appetizers. Everything tastes like sugar was added as a finishing touch. The egg rolls are soft, slimy, and sweet inside. Our egg drop soup tastes like eggs in leftover pancake syrup. The whole lot is inedible.

Not very good. The General Tso was too sweet, but not good tasting. The soft noodles, chow mien is the reason for the second star. It was ok. We went with another couple and they didn’t like it either. Friendly staff, clean place.

Food and service went downhill after new owner. Previously the staff were very friendly and courteous, now they are just average. The biggest thing is the food. Before the food was very flavorful and fulfilling. Now it is pretty bland and meh. One of our favorite meals was the honey garlic chicken which used to be sticky with the honey, now it is some flavorless mayo that sniffed honey at some point.

I’m so disappointed in the food. We used to go to China Light once a week a few years ago. We hadn’t been in awhile so tried it tonight. There must be new ownership because the food was just not good. We ordered the same dishes we used to get; beef and broccoli, honey garlic chicken, special fried rice and moo shu pork. Each dish was very bland and watered down. The special fried rice just tasted bad and was dry. The beef in the beef and broccoli looked and tasted like it had been boiled – kind of grey looking and the sauce was watered down. The broccoli was over cooked and didn’t have that vibrant green color it used to have. The honey garlic chicken… I don’t even know what to say about that. It was not honey garlic chicken. More like a bad, mushy sweet and sour chicken. The mood shu pork was so-so; also very blah and tasteless. What happened China Light? Not only can I not recommend this restaurant anymore I have to recommend you steer clear. So disappointing.

The food was horrible. Seems to be frozen egg rolls as they were gummy inside. Safeway deli Chinese food is way better. The new owners and decor is nice that is only reason for the 2 star.

Two stars because the food is mostly edible, but is just not very good. I’ve had multiple dishes from here but none of them have actually been “good.” And if you go inside, they have large fish in a small tank with nothing in it except a separating wall (I assume because they fight). The tank is EXTREMELY small for such large fish. In my opinion, it’s quite cruel. My husband and I have decided to go elsewhere for any future Chinese food.

I would give them a super negative review if it were an option! How many yucks can you put on here. A REAL BARF BAG OF AN ESTABLISHMENT!

The food from this place is awesome! Got a variety of takeout for a family event and was not disappointed! Everything was delicious and fresh! Give it a try if you haven’t, you’ll be glad you did!

After the change in ownership the pork fried rice changed. We loved the previous rice and now it’s more like Safeway’s pork fried rice. Even my kiddos noticed the difference. After waiting for them to reopen I’m disappointed. Now looking for a new place to go
