Undoubtedly the best late night dive bar in Portland area. It’s was evident upon a rival this is a location that is deeply loved and valued by the locals. Staff was very friendly and the location is central, and within walking distance of most places downtown. Their menu wasn’t massive, but it’s compensated by the price of the drinks and quality of the food. Don’t be fooled at all by the appearance of Tomaso’s, the food here is SERIOUSLY GOOD. My chicken sandwich tasted so fresh, I’m almost sure it was slaughtered out back and prepped in the kitchen shortly before I ordered it.

Delicious food and super cool bar staff. Highly recommend the brunch hash! It was amazing and would be great for a hangover!

Tomaso’s is awesome! This is a great spot for anyone visiting the Portland area that wants a local vibe with fairly priced cocktails, draft, cans, and grub! The Happy Hour specials served Daily 3-6pm are a major bargain. See my pics! The Sat/Sun brunch from 11-3pm also has some great offerings.

Great “hole in the wall” type of place. We went in search of burgers but wound up getting a blackened haddock sandwich and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Portions were huge, especially for the price! Everything tasted great and they have great fries. The menu has a lot of variety for the size. Servers were friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back to try some other menu options.

If you enjoy the dive bar vibe this is your place. Great drinks, delicious eats, and top notch service. Seriously, stop in and give them a try on your next visit to Portland. The fries slap and the “dirt” wings are some of the best you’ll have. Did I mention the prices are great as well.

Not very fourth coming about ingredients/ unclear menu items. Everything had chili flakes in it and was very spicy. The plain Mac and cheese was anything but plain. It is covered in spices and chili flakes. The brussel sprouts also covered in chili flakes and very spicy.

Cool environment and great drink and food. We tried chicken bomb and dump truck and both were delicious. And they open till 1am, not so many places in Portland open this late!!

We stopped in for a drink while waiting for a table at another restaurant. The canteen is nestled in a quiet spot but the inside is lively and warm. Very local vibe with agreeable pricing and a nice selection of beers and drinks. A good place to hunker down and spend some time with friends.
