Ordered a delivery with door dash for my first time trying food here and I was not disappointed! I got the 2 pieces fish with fries and a drink, so delicious and great portion size for the price. The fried fish tasted fresh and seasoned good, definitely hit the spot. Mac salad was good and refreshing for when I wanted to balance the spiciness of the hot sauce/fried fish. Hush Puppies were my favorite, so flavorful and crispy but soft on the inside. To top it off the chocolate cake was moist and yummy! Will definitely be ordering from here again

I got a doordash order for this place so I went to pick up.. long wait for the food, but the owner offered me a drink and kept me updated on everything. When I finished delivering, I decided to come back and I got a 2 fish platter with fries and a Nipsey Juice and it was much faster this time. The food is phenomenal, the establishment is clean and has a unique and good atmosphere and I hope to see these folks continue to grow and succeed here. The fish (red snapper) is some of the best I’ve had in a long time and perfectly seasoned and fried. I would say if there’s one area that could be improved on, it’s speed – but this was well worth the wait

Took 1 hour and 10 minutes for my food to be ready. No communication about the order wait time. Food wasn’t the best taste. I ordered a funnel cake and it was soggy as if it wasn’t cooked all the way. It was crumbly more than anything. When situation was brought up to management attention they were more on the offensive side vs apologetic.

The food is great! I have had their catfish, snapper, baked salmon, banana pudding funnel cake, hush puppies, chicken n waffles and my hubby loves the oysters. Their service is always friendly and timely. We have eaten there several times and will continue to do so. Thank uoy for being a part of the community and bringing something different to Cal City.

Horrible food. I got the 10 piece wing, hot and my wings were tuff and RAW on the inside. I have a health condition that weakens my immune system and if I wouldn’t have noticed the raw on the inside I would be suing!On top of them not having my other item I ordered I got substituted with they’re horrible and dry tasting potato salad that taste like dried over seasoned potatoes in clumps! Horrible food and will never be ordering again. Do NOT eat from here unless you want to contact a lawyer and start a law suit.

I was extremely hungry and excited to visit this establishment. Once I received my order, I was extremely dismayed. Why? Let’s start with the small portion sizes. The amount you pay doesn’t match the portion size you receive. I ordered a red snapper meal (it looked more like a snack).The red snapper fillets were a little smaller than a chicken strip. The batter was not good and the only way I could finish my snapper was dipping it in ketchup. I couldn’t believe the minuscule amount of French Fries I received. The catfish is not filleted so prepare to pick out bones with every bite. If you plan on ordering shrimp, don’t ne fooled by the price. The price will have you believe you are paying for jumbo shrimp, but in reality, you receive something slightly bigger than popcorn shrimp. The hush puppies were dryer than the Mojave Desert and the size of a cake pop. Speaking of cake, my chocolate cake crumbled when I stuck a fork in it. I couldn’t wash anything down with the Nipsey Juice because the “juice” just didn’t taste good.

The service was great but it took so long we had to get our money back. Not a good day for the guy that was there. I hope next time we actually get to eat. The food smelled amazing and the place was very clean. When I’m back in the area. I’ll try them again. I always hear how good it is. If you go. It is a little pricey. We ordered a 50 piece of chicken for $50. I think. But as I said. I’ve only heard good things about the food.

Everything was BOMB. My husband got the catfish and I got the red snapper we both cleaned out plates!! One top of the food being delicious their customer service is too tier! Very welcoming, polite and professional 10out of 10 HIGHLY recommend. Also love that they are open later than most places out here
