Let me just say…it’s NOT the same. The dinning area floor wasn’t clean ..I paid 5$ for a slice of carrot cake the fish was so thin and transparent, I asked myself “Where’s the fish” that’s because it was battered too. Food really didn’t have any flavor. Okra however, was Good and fresh. The ladies or girls taking orders weren’t very welcoming either. Maybe because it was Friday. The whole place and food just looked tired. And the chicken strips were over fried. My apologies but I was disappointed.

Gross. Fish was pressed, frozen fish-stick kind of food. Chicken was burnt. Oysters they cooked to replace chicken were undercooked. Butterfly shrimp was tough. Nothing had any flavor except for the fresh jalapeño.

Absolutely love the food just got a little disappointed yesterday the owner is always on point with everything but yesterday I got a fish plate to go some young lady attended me but when i get to my kids school to wait no utensils for me to eat with so since I’m a Mexican I used tarter sauce lid but other than that food was still good like always but utensils would of been nice that’s all

Had not been here since the Pandemic, 3piece fish with fries, rice and drink $16… fish is very different than prior to pandemic, the 3 pieces were exactly the same like if they were cut or shaped by a cookie cutter. Definitely not a breaded fresh filet. More like a frozen fish stick product. Side portions not generous, on a positive note, the rice had good flavor. Will not be visiting the his restaurant again sadly
