I don’t like to leave pizza reviews since people have different taste in pizza. But I think this place deserves a review since they make what you ask for. Sunday Oct 17th 8 PM. We called and ordered a thin crust pizza, will done. I know for sure that it’s not that easy to get a thin crust right, and get the pie crispy without burning it. But they did it right, it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life, and trust me, I try every pizza place when I go anywhere. Yes the sauce is sweet, but not extra sweet, it’s the right balance, specially that tomato sauce loses it’s sweetness when cooked.

So, the big sign isn’t up outside any more…but it makes it seem like a secret place – that or we went in the back door. Anyways, this place is really good and really unique! The sweet sauce on the pizza is definitely different, but good. We ordered two pepperoni pizzas to share between two adults and 6 kids – it was more than enough. We also ordered a cheesesteak and fries with gravy (added mozzarella to make poutine) which were also both excellent. What pushed thia place over the top for me was it’s drink selection (its like a big mini bar in the chillers up front!) and the fact that when our youngest spilled an entire soda on the table and we started cleaning it up, the waitress was calm, helped us out, and reassured her that it was okay. And she was their only waitress that day AND slam-packed busy!

I brag about this pizza shop a lot. I took my Mom there yesterday May 14th 2023 for Mother’s Day. I was having a cheat day as I’m not allowed any of this type of food. The slice of pizza we both had was amazing. The fries were amazing as well. My Mom had the seafood platter comes with fries and cole slaw we had to ask the waitress for a fork and knife for my Mom to eat it as well as a plate. Then she didn’t bring the cole slaw so had to ask for it she seemed upset and it was not cut small enough. Now onto my order. I ordered the baked ziti had to keep repeating my order to her 5xs until I finally pointed to it on the menu when she bought it to me it was not baked and no fork to eat it with so I ask for one she tells me she bought a fork I said for my Mom not me she said oh I get it. I ate my fries and bought the ziti home because I was going to bake it myself but decided to throw it out. Mind you it has 2 kinds on the menu Ziti and Baked Ziti and two different prices wish I could show the pictures. Then we ordered dessert my Mom got the cheese cake waitress gave her a plastic spoon to eat it and it was frozen. I ordered ice-cream chocolate and strawberry she brings it in a styrofoam cup I couldn’t eat both kinds at the same time. My Mom and I laughed about it and my Mom still had a great day. I was not satisfied with the service she was very unprofessional. I also just noticed I was cha fee for getting the service from this waitress that didn’t do a service good

You walk in the door to the classic 90’s pizza place, the smell of yeast from the dough cascades your nose in a flow of sensations, the fryers bubbling with crispy golden fries to be ready for the eating any second, the friendly and quick working staff, and the clean floors and tables make this place the absolute best pizza in the world. The cheese is the absolute perfect amount, the sweet sauce adds just the right amount of jump to the flavor, and that thin crust cooked to perfect crunchy yet still soft top. First time trying Franzones and it was great. We are regulars of Little Sicily in Bridgeport but a friend recommended Franzones. We picked up a couple pizza while we were out that way. The pizzas were really good. Plenty of cheese which was delicious. Their mushrooms tasted fresh snd they were under the cheese. Overall it was a really good pizza. We will 100% be back.

I am almost sad that I can’t help but love this pizza because of how much disregard they have towards their customers when it comes to being open. Every single platform out there including their own website says they are open until 11 everyday but they actually close at 9. I wouldn’t be so upset about this if they even seemed the least bit concerned when I called them about it. They could just invest in a $20 answering machine so when you call there, you know their new hours but they don’t think that it’s very important. Mostly what IM MAD ABOUT is the fact that the day after driving there for no reason going off of the hours they posted on their website, they stopped answering their phone at 8:20 to take orders when they close at 9pm. I drove there again and got there at 8:40 because I didn’t think there was even a little possibility of them closing that much earlier than they say they are supposed to close. But when I got there the person behind the counter said that they already shut everything off and no one was there to cook anyway. I guess they just always have something better to do than actually serve their customers.
