I had the la Fresa taco with charo beans and rice as well as some fire roasted salsa and chips. The taco was very flavorful and the meat was nice and juicy. The jalapeno salsa on the taco had lots of flavor. The fire roasted salsa was great as well. The prices were very reasonable as well.

Killer chicken. Very flavorful. The charro beans were amazing as well. Liked them more than the black beans. The salsa is a perfect complement to the chicken.

The food was great. I was skating up the street and the guy I was talking to recommended Fresa’s. Service was speedy and polite. The tacos were great and the picosa was tasty. I had a limón drink that hit the spot.

As silly as this might sound, it was pleasantly refreshing to find an independent chain in Austin with a drive-thru. Sometimes on my work days I just don’t have the additional spoons to park and go inside a restaurant. Having to drive through allows me to catch up on emails while I’m waiting my turn and still support an independent business.

Healthy, tasty tacos with the right amount of greasiness.

Generally it is very good if not a little pricey. But the last Fresa tacos I had were too salty though. It was the first time I was disappointed by the tacos.

Good service every time. The prices are a little high but the deliciousness makes up for it. You get what you pay for. They have a large menu and you can use the drive thru or they also have a small area where you can eat outdoors. Space is limited and this is also where you pick up your food if in foot. The food is great.

The fresca was good but they give you mostly ice. Don’t know how good the tacos are because they were ice cold like they’d been in the freezer. So we took them back and exchanged them for the queso. It was not good and all you taste is onions. We waited in the drive thru for more than 20 mins. With kind of wait time, I’d expect the food to be hot. The bad part about the drive thru is that once you’re in line, you’re stuck. No way out. Think worlds most inconvenient drive thru. I’m reluctant to ever try this place again. Just figured I’d share our drive thru experience with others. Maybe park and use the walk up window instead. Oh yea, the Mexican cokes are $6.

Visited Austin for a day for an interview. It was lunch time and it was pouring down rain. Fresa’s seemed like the perfect place because I could drive through and pick up food without getting out of the car. I have been living in Georgia for a while (originally from Houston) so good Tex-Mex or Mexican food is very hard to come by. Everything on Fresa’s menu looked amazing and I wanted to try it all. So I got a little bit of everything. Here is what I ordered:
