The owner is very nice , food had a good flavor BUT the fish tastes like swai fish (which is still part of the catfish family), but I prefer real, 100% catfish. The shrimp had a good flavor but the batter was kind of soft. Overall good flavor, biggest take away was the fish. Price wise: seafood platter (1 fish , 4 shrimp, fries and boudain ball) is $17 and I added extra shrimp for $1.50 each, not bad.

If you’re looking for authentic NOLA/Louisiana cuisine this is the place! I truly enjoyed my experience and 1st time at Bourbon St Poboyz. Everything is FRESH made to order, I had the 10pc Fried Shrimp plate that includes fries & hush puppies. The shrimps was EVERYTHING well-seasoned with a good crunchy batter, the size was perfect and you can tell it’s a great quality gulf shrimp! Love the fries with the special seasonings on them and the hush puppies were TOO good OH MY! They had a sweet hint to them it was just everything, by far the best hush puppies I ever had. I’m so glad my friend/sis Trell Blazin introduced me to this establishment and owner Mr. Pat. He’s a very humble man with excellent customer service and hospitality. I suggest ANYONE to give this place a try and I promise you’ll keep coming back. I’m believing God will bless Mr. Pat with trustworthy employees and business partners that will help expand his business and lighten up the load. Hats off to Mr. Pat for holding his business down.

Coming from Louisiana, it is so hard to find good poboys sometimes! This place hit the spot. From the fresh french bread to the golden fried shrimp. Every bite was great! There is a little wait since the owner works alone, but its worth the wait. He cooks everything to order and the food is excellent. Definitely worth every penny. Authentic Louisiana food . I would know cause I’m from there.

You have to really be from New Orleans to understand me when i say “ The Food was on point and definitely tasted like an original New Orleanean prepared it”, the Seafood Boudin Balls was done to perfection and the shrimp Po Boys seasoning was also on point, the Po Boys were made with very nice size shrimp and prepared with that good ole Leidenheimer bread. The owner took our order and served us as well, he was very attentive , sociable, and made sure we had all that we needed while we dined in to eat. We came in an hour before closing. There were no downsides to our experience and no suggestions, the owner definitely impressed us with the whole experience collectively. Thank You

Okay! Okay! I just ate the most heavenly shrimp and hush puppies ever! I got jacked for my fries! Lol, it was such a pleasure to meet this young businessman. The shrimp was excellent, big and flavorful. I thought 10 wasn’t enough, but gee wiz it was perfect. I will say I needed more hush puppies because they were sooooo good! I exercised self-control and didn’t order more. All in all, this experience was wonderful. I hope and pray you bigger, sir.
