Opening September 7th, 2023 at 5am! Building is looking good and almost complete! Located on Hilliard Rome Rd south of Interstate 70 in front of Menards. It’s Bojangle’s first Central Ohio location with many more planned in the near future.

Listen. Y’all don’t even know. We’ve all been impatient for quite possibly one of the greatest moments to ever bestow our great city of Columbus.

Guys, no bone-in chicken? Who’s bright idea was that? Some market research pencil-pusher behind a desk in the franchisee’s Asheville NC corporate office? You aren’t open yet, and you’re already taking a huge gamble! Time will tell if it was worth it. Good luck!

Was very excited to get a BoJ in the area. Grew up in the Carolinas. So many chicken places in the Columbus area but its all chicken tenders. So many chicken tender places. Only real bone-in choices are KFC (which has been subpar for decades) and Popeyes (chicken is great but lacking sides and we won’t even discuss the biscuits.) So, yay! BoJ was coming to save us from the mundane – waited through months of opening delays…. Only to find out this location will only be serving boneless chicken. Great, another chicken tender joint among the amasses. At least we still have all day breakfast, right? Nope. This location will only serve breakfast until 2pm. My families excitement level has gone from a 10 to a 1. So September 7th when they open, we may get some breakfast biscuits. But we will not frequent as much as we would have. Oh well.

Doing work over here getting the place ready for open. Trainees were making food and we got to test it. This is better than caines, KFC, church’s, and popeyes. My lord. Blueberry biscuits are awesome as are the regular biscuits. Sauces are great. Mac and cheese, rice, and fries are on point. Most importantly, the chicken slaps. I am very happy with my experience. Opening to the public soon.

Come on y’all. It’s 2023. You should be able to coordinate with Google. Like others, I drove out of my way to get here, only to arrive to find them pouring concrete in their parking lot. Be better Bo.

Been a fan of Bojangles for years. Definitely stop at that one in Kentucky always. I am both happy and sad that its finally coming this way. Bojangles tends to season their food which is why they are top of our list but Columbus has its way of ruining things and not having them taste the same or as good as what you’re use to! Heck they are already off to a bad start by not being open by the expected date and going on a month behind the posted dates. Things have already been Columbus’d up so we’ll see how this pans out and unfortunately they started on the wrong side of town first but its not like customers get a say so in the matter. Hopefully they build on the east side of town. The east is badly in need of restaurant options since everything is being built everywhere else but there.

As a North Carolina native I can assure you this restaurant has the best chicken. Once it’s up and running, you’ll know that, too.
