Cute little diner with cute decor! Resturant closed early because they ran out of so many items on their menu. Got mushrooms on my burger, and they tasted like mushrooms from a can (terrible)! However I would definitely go back. Service was great.. those servers were awesome!

Great, fun little diner. Staff is extremely friendly and the seating is very clean and comfortable. Looks like it was recently updated. If not, they do a fantastic job of keeping everything in ship shape. If you like grilled onions, I’d recommend the Old 64 burger basket. Menu pics are as of 7/7/23.

We went here because of friend told us to try. Great service and food. The only complaint was I feel we were over charge. I got a hambuger steak basket, pink lemonade and hush puppies and strawberry shake and my fiance got a Martang burger and sweet tea and it cost us almost 43 dollars. I don’t if someone made a mistake. We were there 3/31/23 around 6:30pm. We really like the place.

I really enjoyed my visit to this place and I am planning on going back. I had the Hamburger Steak with okra and squash. My husband had Hamburger Steak, salad, and orka . Our Daughter and Son-in-law had burger baskets, and our friends had burger baskets. The food is good, they have desserts, and a drive through window. The waitress staff worked well together taking care of everyone. They are friendly and quick service. They even have a burger with Conrad and Hinkle Pimento Cheese on it, that will be my next visit.

Definitely was stared at when i came in , as it was all white Americans. But not sure if it was in all in a bad way lol. Everyone was very friendly but stared like nobody ever seen someone as beautiful as me lol just kidding but it is how i felt by the pleasure people seemed to have by looking and the smiles on everyones face so I’m not gonna say they were making me feel not wanted because it was more the opposite way. A real good southern hospitality and was the first place me and my boyfriend went to as a date bc neither one of us had gone at the time 3 years ago and had lived in southmont for awhile. This was my second time going since then.

It was my first time in this place. The atmosphere was nice. It was like home, of course out though. The waitresses were nice, very polite and helpful. The prices were pretty reasonable. I would say very reasonable or not expensive. Lunch was great. I will have to go back. They are only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Will have to get pics next time.

Is the true fifties Diner experience — Like Mels from Ameeican Graffitie or the Frozen Palace in Grease — it’s very nice to have in a time where true diners are disappearing — It is complete with checkerboard floor lighted juke box playing period correct music — The staff was one of the most friendly and engaging I’ve have run across in quite a while — Burgers Hot dogs and other traditional diner fare along with daily blue plate specials — Meatloaf was today’s – Burger and corn nuggets were out of this world Daddy-O — I highly recommend this place If your down by Hogh Rock Lake — Bring your classic car and leather jacket– You just might see the T-Birds and Pink Ladies here — The only think missing is James Dean El is and Marylin sitting at the bar — Groovy

Omg so great the food was Amazing the atmosphere was great perfect juke box playing and everything!! The wait staff was friendly and got the food order correct and was fast even for our large group of 8 on a Sunday morning!!! Again the food was amazing!! Will be going back for more !!
