Wonderful place, really welcoming! Our server was very patient and had a positive attitude. The chips and salsa that were given to us were pretty good, the salsa wasn’t very spicy (good for picky eaters), and the chips were fresh and sturdy for good dipping! I enjoyed that when ordering tacos, we could choose our own meat for either each of them or for all four! I’d give this place a 100/5 stars for their authenticity for the food and the drinks 😀 I hope this place never goes out of business as I’d definitely want to come again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal fajitas mixed chicken, steak and grilled shrimp. Our meal was grilled to perfection served with rice , refried beans , a salad with perfectly toasted tortillas. We just had to try their chocolate and vanilla flan. If you want delicious authentic Mexican food ,great service and a delightful atmosphere go to El Jalisco.

This is not a cookie cutter Mexican style restaurant. They have their own unique style which makes it stand out. We were hesitant to try but glad we did. French fries with Queso along side chips and queso/salsa is definitely a new fav. The chicken quesadilla was delicious and perfectly portioned with toppings inside (without all of the extra lettuce, onion, guac, sour cream mess)I was surprised to see that it did not come with rice but you can order that on the side if you wish. The carne asada was also delicious and a big portion. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was super attentive and friendly which made this visit top notch. We will be back! Also – they do charge extra for using a card so bring cash!!

We had the chicken enchiladas one with the red sauce and the other the green sauce. The only flavor was the hot sauce I added to the enchiladas. The salsa was so bland that I had to add hot sauce in order for the salsa to have flavor. On a good note the rice was good. Also it was disturbing to hear the loud Bass music and the people running upstairs we could hear it was we were eating our food. It sounded like someone was going to fall through the ceiling.

Food was excellent, I had the California burrito and my girlfriend had the pina loca. Both were delicious. The salsa and guacamole were amazing as well. I wasn’t a big fan of the guac but that’s because I don’t care for cilantro, my girlfriend really liked it. Frozen pineapple marg was very good but hard to tell if there was much tequila in there.

My family and I tried El Jalisco near the end of their first week being open, and it was great! The food was delicious, and it came in large portions. I had the piña loca (crazy pineapple) which came filled with shrimp, steak, and chicken with a plate full of veggies on the side and tortillas. My wife had the California burrito which I also tasted, and can confirm it was delicious, as the cheese it was covered in was flavorful and pleasantly spicy! We went in the early afternoon when there weren’t too many people, and we didn’t need to wait long for the food to come out. The prices are also very reasonable considering how large the portions are. While they are still ironing out some kinks due to being so new (menus need to be updated and decor somewhat reflects what used to be there), I’m looking forward to the next time I can bring my family to eat there and try something new!
