If you don’t give this place a try you are missing out! My wife had flounder for the first time ever and said was excellent came with a huge fresh roll. Hot Beef plate was real roast, mashed potatoes and gravy. First location in this area I have found gravy that is truly homemade! Going to try breakfast next I’m sure it will be amazing. Great service and reasonable prices! I will eventually try more on menu as we will be back many times!

Horrible food!! I got a burger and fries and it was the worst burger i have ever had. Took 1 bite and no more. Tastes like they fix the food ahead of time and throw it in the microwave when ordered. I ended up going to mcds to get a burger after. That should tell you something .Will never go back.

This place is AMAZING! We recently moved to the general area & we go out to dinner on Friday nights. 5 months in & we still hadn’t found our “this will be the one” place. We drove about 35 minutes to try the food here & it was WELL worth the drive! Home cooked food, fantastic service, & those ROLLS – O M G! We finally found our Friday night spot! ❤️

My husband and I had dinner here on a Friday night on our way from NC to PA. Fried flounder was one of the specials. We lived at the Outer Banks of NC for 10 years and I can honestly say the flounder we ate at the Dining Room was the best we’ve ever had. Only surpassed by their homemade giant delicious dinner rolls. Their applesauce is also the best…so sweet and delicious it could also be a dessert flavored with cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg I believe. The service is top notch and it’s a warm, cozy atmosphere. We hope to stop again on our next trip.

Very local and homely spot with staff that’s extremely friendly and outgoing to ensure customer satisfaction. Menu is limited but good enough, interior can use an update but that’s what gives it the feel your eating at your friends house.

Wow great tasty food. First time here. Almost as good as my grandmother cooking . We purchased chicken dinner one with fries the other with mashed potatoes and vegetable of the day which was broccoli, cauliflower, and cheese. Everything was well prepared and cooked to perfection. There was some love in that food. A saying used when one gives great effort and concern. A hidden gem indeed!
