Everything looks run down and not maintained. Was pulled ahead where I waited for 16 minutes in the drive thru lane. Chicken tasted like it was fried in old dirty oil. Fries were cold. The young man cleaning was pleasant. He came out and said hi and asked if everything was ok. Sounded genuine. TIP…the rest of you could learn hospitality from that young man.

Each time I have stopped to eat here I have had issues. The burger is always cold and tastes as if the meat is old or freezer burned. My last trip there I waited in the drive through for about 10 minutes before getting to the pick-up window. The two cars ahead of me were asked to pull ahead to wait for their orders, but I received mine. I should have checked my bag before I hit the road, because my “large” fries had less than a small fries worth loaded in it…and they were cold. I thought for sure waiting that long would mean that I was getting fresh hot food. I was wrong.

The Owner of this Hardee’s is a stingy old miser. I’m retired and have been touring around the country for several weeks and stop at Hardee’s for breakfast 4-5 times a week for their ‘Breakfast Platter’. It’s $4.99 elsewhere, $5.99 at this location. I ordered a ‘senior coffee’, typically half price, here you get a four cent discount, $1.25 in lieu of $1.29. All refills and condiments are behind the counter instead of in the dining area like all of the locations in five states I’ve just been through. I asked the manager why and she said the owner didn’t didn’t want people helping themselves as they might “take too much”. Fortunately this will be my only visit at this location. If you’re a senior, I’d advise you go someplace else.

Some reason, every other time I order here, my order is wrong. Ordered a sausage egg biscuit combo ten minutes ago, and was given a sausage and gravy. I didn’t realize until I pulled onto the highway the snafu. If I hadn’t been late for work, I would’ve had then correct it then. I understand it’s early, but quality control needs to be a thing….

The price on the menu board for the cinnamon biscuit was $2.49 but when she rang it up it was $2.99. I asked why it was $.50 more and the manager said “I’m sorry the price didn’t change up there” (pointing to the menu board.) I was in too much of a hurry to have them correct MY price but Hardee’s needs to change the price on the menu board please!! Other then that, the food was hot, delicious and was served very quick.
