The best little hole in the wall establishment! Good food and great people. The French toast sticks were so yummy with the perfect light crisp. My eggs were perfect and the bacon, yum! . The cream cheese stuffed jalapenos were fried to perfection in an amazing batter that was a delight to crunch into. The burger my bf got had rave reviews from him too! I’m super glad we decided to drive down and have a spontaneous meal out here!

What a great place! Rode my bike here from the rv park…u know a place is good when the local emt squad shows up for lunch. This seems like a locals favorite And for good reason. It’s not touristy at all, but what it is is a local bar that serves up one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! There was another review on here that mentioned someone driving bout of their way to come here for a burger and I get it now! It’s not a fancy so-called “gourmet” burger but an actual burger done right! I may just come here everyday for lunch while I’m here! Highly recommend! Also the outside seating is probably cooler than the inside!

This is an old school joint in the best ways possible; friendly service and regulars (don’t be surprised if someone rings the bell and buys a round!), pool, ice cold beer amd i am not kidding the BEST burger you could ask for. You know before you even walk in you’ve found the spot… the smell from the old seasoned grill is amazing the second you open your vehicle’s door.

Dropped in to give this spot a try while out driving around checking out the Jetty. Got the Philly Cheese Steak with the forties on the side. Pool table and AC. Perfect place to spend a few minutes to get out of the heat!

It was ok. I had a sandwich but didn’t know it’d be hot since it didn’t state it on the menu. I dont like hot lettuce so I could not each much of it. My daughter had a burger and it was decent. The lady was very sweet though. We had to leave once I saw a lady spark up her cigarette. My kid has asthma so that was weird because I thought that wasn’t allowed anymore. All in all we appreciate the food and kindness. It’ll be our emergency spot for food.

Did not order anything the place was filled with the smell of used cooking oil and we sat there about ten minutes before any body brought us a menu. The four of us ended up leaving with out ordering.

Absolute worst food ever!! We ordered a fish plate with fries..the fish was one small filet that was not fresh, over cooked and rubbery. The patty melt with onion rings was 2 dry pieces of bread and the meat was over cooked, super greasy. The onion rings were BURNT!! The whole plate tasted burned and ‘off’. The waitress was super nice and apologized and stated that all their food is frozen food. Then the cook came out and stated the onion rings has been not stored corrected and she couldn’t keep the breading on them as they were frying. (Not stored in proper temperature). There was a gentleman sitting less than 10ft from where the food was being cooked..chain smoking. It was hot and muggy inside. Being so close to the jetties and VERY near many fresh seafood markets it is an absolute shame this place is serving frozen food stored at the wrong temp and incorrectly cooked. Also for the two plates we were charged $28.75. No, we didn’t eat more than a couple bites.

Absolutely best burger on the island, damn good service and great atmosphere. Has ice cold shiner bock and a pool table while you wait. Close to the jetty and priced right. Get one every time I visit no matter what. You can come in covered in fish guts and nobody raises hell, true texas coastal joint here folks.
